Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 498

In a private hospital room, Honora lay in bed, scrolling through the chat between Milton and Larissa. She took a screenshot and sent it to Finley. Seeing that the message went through, she knew he hadn’t blocked her.

[Finley, Benedict, the director you worked so hard to recruit, has abandoned Starlight Media. It was your life’s work, and now your own sister is driving it into the ground. I feel so sorry for you.]

She waited, but no reply came.

It didn’t matter. She knew he had seen it.

She put down her phone and looked at her own bandaged face in a hand mirror. Only her eyes were visible. Soon, the bandages would come off, and her beauty would be restored.

With Lucius backing her now, she was certain she could finally destroy Larissa. She would make Larissa pay a thousand times over for every bit of pain she had endured.

At the city hospital, Finley had just been given another dose of sedatives, and the agonizing pain was finally beginning to subside. His doctor stood by the bed, looking at his pale face with a troubled expression. He turned to Vivica and Leopold, who were visiting.

“Mr. Judson’s condition… we’ve done all we can. We can’t keep him on anesthetics long-term. It will eventually cause brain damage.”

Seeing her son so weak, Vivica’s heart ached.

“I understand,” she said, her voice strained. “We’ll arrange for his discharge tomorrow and figure something out ourselves.”

“I’ll prescribe a month’s worth of painkillers. I strongly advise you to find a specialist who can treat him within that time.”

After the doctor left, Vivica’s eyes turned red.

He had been getting daily updates on the company’s situation from a female employee who was still loyal to him. He knew that a dozen employees had been poached by Gale Entertainment, leaving the company short-staffed. Now, with Benedict gone too, the “Heaven’s Will” project was in serious jeopardy.

If he could find a director even more renowned than Benedict for his sister, it might be enough to atone for what he had done. Maybe then, Larissa would be willing to cure him.

Just then, another message came from the female employee.

[Mr. Judson, five strange people showed up at the office today. Your sister hired them to help.]

Finley paused. His sister… had already found help?

He quickly typed back: [What about a director? Has she found one?]
