Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 514

Larissa remained unfazed.

“Oh, if you fell into the hands of someone you consider a nobody, doesn’t that just make you an even bigger failure?” she retorted coolly. “Poisoning a failure like you seems perfectly reasonable to me.”

Ignoring Faith’s contorted expression, Larissa turned to Solomon. “From what you just said, it sounds like you took Draven, but you never intended to truly harm Haskell. In that case, my poisoning your sister was just my way of helping my fiancé in this competition. As long as she doesn’t die, it’s all fair game, right?”

Solomon’s face was a cold mask. He didn’t answer.

Faith finally exploded. “Grandpa, you heard her! Larissa admitted to poisoning me! Make her give me the antidote! If you don’t, she’s not just disrespecting me, she’s disrespecting the entire Palmer family!”

“Ah, but you’re wrong,” Larissa corrected her calmly. “I’m only disrespecting your family, not Grandpa Zoltan or my Haskell. You alone do not represent the entire Palmer family.”

She turned to Zoltan. “Grandpa Zoltan, you saw the video. I poisoned Faith not for any selfish reason, but to protect Haskell. The fact that she allowed herself to be poisoned only proves her and her brother’s incompetence. Solomon is clearly no match for Haskell.”

The word “incompetence” struck a nerve. Solomon’s expression turned terrifyingly dark.

But Larissa, seemingly oblivious, continued, “Solomon thought he could use Draven against Haskell, but not only did he fail, he ended up losing his own sister as a hostage. A classic case of the biter bit.”

“That’s enough,” Zoltan said, his voice firm. “Larissa is right. Whatever schemes you were plotting, you failed, and you must accept the consequences.”

He then turned to Larissa. “I will punish them for what they did to Haskell. But I hope you will still give my granddaughter the antidote.”

Larissa nodded. “Of course. Since you’re asking me personally, Grandpa Zoltan, I can give Faith the antidote.”

“Enough, Faith!” Zoltan’s voice boomed, silencing her. “If you want the antidote, you will hold your tongue!”

Faith stared at him, stunned. She couldn’t believe her grandfather was siding with Larissa.

None of the grandchildren had ever dared to negotiate with him. What made Larissa so special?

With the Palmer family’s power, her grandfather could easily force Larissa to hand over the antidote. Why was he asking for her consent?

Zoltan turned back to Larissa, his voice calm. “Larissa, what are your terms?”
