Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 632

Livia’s body went rigid. She stopped and turned slowly, her gaze sharp as a blade. The alcohol had flushed her cheeks, but her eyes were like frozen stars, chilling to the bone.

Crack!

The sharp sound of a slap echoed in the night air as Livia’s palm connected squarely with Theon’s face. He stared at her, utterly stunned, momentarily forgetting how to react.

“You dare hit me?” Theon finally roared, grabbing her sleeve and raising his hand to strike back.

Livia tilted her chin up, defiant. “Go on, Theon. I dare you. What do you think Lucius would do if he found out you laid a hand on his woman?”

Theon’s hand froze mid-air, his face contorting with rage. Lucius, the man whose name alone could make all of Regal City tremble was not someone he could afford to cross.

Still, he wasn’t ready to back down. He glared at her, hissing through clenched teeth, “Just wait until I take over the company and Mr. Lincoln gets tired of you. I’ll have plenty of chances to deal with you then.”

Livia smacked his hand away. “Talk to me when you’ve actually taken over the company.”

With that, she clenched her fists so tightly her nails dug into her palms and strode toward the elevators without a backward glance, silently vowing that she would never give that bastard an inch.

Theon followed her into the elevator.

“Seriously, Livia, what are you still dreaming of? You can’t possibly think Mr. Lincoln cares about you enough to let you challenge me, do you?” he sneered. “Your mother’s dead. Why can’t you just learn your place?”

At the mention of her mother, a fresh wave of fury washed over Livia. She raised her hand to strike him again, but this time Theon was ready and caught her wrist in a vice-like grip.

“You have friends?” Larissa asked, surprised.

Haskell raised an eyebrow, a helpless smile playing on his lips. “Do I really seem that reclusive, Larissa?”

“No, not at all. You seem like the type to have a lot of friends,” she admitted. “It’s just… in all the time I’ve known you, I’ve never met any of them.”

“So you want to meet my friends?” Haskell said. “Alright. After your birthday party, I’ll get us all together for dinner.”

“Sounds great!”

Just as she spoke, a notification for an incoming call from Livia popped up on her screen.
