Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 638

How dare this cripple come to her home and threaten her?

But she had to be careful with Larissa around. The woman’s methods were bizarre and terrifying. If she said the wrong thing, there was no telling what kind of underhanded trick Larissa might pull.

She swallowed her anger. “Grandpa hasn’t officially announced the heir yet. It’s too early to declare a winner, Haskell. Don’t get ahead of yourself.”

Haskell’s smile never wavered. “Perhaps. But if you don’t believe me, feel free to ignore my warning and continue taking your chances.”

Then he turned his head. “That’s enough, Larissa. Let’s go.”

Larissa glanced at Faith’s furious, yet restrained expression and flashed a brilliant smile. “I thought you’d be more arrogant now that you’re no longer poisoned. I see you’ve learned a little caution. Good for you.”

Faith was speechless.

The moment they left, Faith frantically called her brother. As soon as he answered, she burst out, “Solomon, that cripple Haskell and that bitch Larissa were just here! They’re demanding you hand over Thatch.”

Solomon said nothing.

Faith’s eyes narrowed. “You really did kidnap him?”

“I’m certain. The information came from Lucius. It’s reliable.”

“And Haskell found his real brother that quickly?”

“Yes,” Solomon confirmed. “Haskell has him under protection, so I can’t get to him directly. That’s why Fraser proposed this plan. I’m responsible for grabbing Thatch, and Fraser will handle manipulating Haskell’s brother into going after Grandpa.”

“But you know Fraser can’t be trusted,” Faith insisted.

Solomon sneered. “Of course I do. Since he approached me, I’m going to muddy the waters. I’ll find a way to make sure Haskell’s brother actually kills Grandpa, which will seal Haskell’s fate. If I can’t be the heir, then Fraser won’t use me to become one either. And if I fail completely, we’ll just move the whole family to Africa. Haskell won’t hunt us down overseas.”
