Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 647

At Gale Entertainment, Lucius sat impassively on the sofa as Damon and Theon Tyson reported on their recent efforts against Larissa.

Theon gestured proudly at his phone. “Mr. Lincoln, just look at the online reception for ‘Heaven's Will’. It’s getting completely torched! I doubt it’ll even make it to filming before it dies.”

Damon was pleased but cautious. “Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. We need to see what Larissa does next.”

“What can she do, Dad?” Theon scoffed. “Even if she tries something, it won’t matter. At her birthday party, Mr. Lincoln will snap his fingers, and she’ll be finished. Without a leader, Starlight Media will descend into chaos.”

Lucius, who had been silent, finally spoke. “Kenric, the director Rigby assaulted, has disappeared.”

He had used Kenric to track down Rigby, intending to make an example of him, but Haskell and Larissa had shown up. Larissa’s methods were too unpredictable. Even with bodyguards, he had been wary of her strange tricks and made a hasty retreat, leaving Kenric behind.

Now, he regretted it. He had left her a witness. He could only hope Kenric was smart enough to keep his mouth shut.

“Are you worried he’s with Larissa?” Theon said confidently. “Don’t be, Mr. Lincoln. As long as she has no concrete evidence, I can spin anything. If news breaks that she’s kidnapped a director, I’ll just add another crime to her name: coercing a witness to clear Rigby’s name.”

Lucius said nothing more. He had already erased all evidence of Kenric’s sexual misconduct on set. Theon was right. Even if Kenric came forward, they could easily claim he had been forced to confess.

As for Wynn, his girlfriend, Tawny, was under the thumb of a powerful figure. His former assistant was dead. Who could prove he hadn’t cheated? Tawny certainly wouldn’t risk her own safety to defend him.

“Don’t worry, I’ll find the evidence,” she assured him. “We’ll let the rumors fester for a bit, then we’ll debunk them one by one. Now, I’m here to treat Sire.”

“You’re still willing to treat him?” Rigby asked, surprised.

Larissa shrugged. “The misunderstanding has been cleared up, hasn’t it?”

Rigby opened his mouth to say something, then closed it. “Thank you, Ms. Judson. I’m very grateful.”
