Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 663

"Is Theon your son?"

The question struck Margot like a bolt of lightning, her mind going completely blank. She stared into space, her lips parted, unable to form a sound. It took a long moment for her to process the words and confirm that they were, indeed, talking about her son.

"The deceased… is my son, Theon Tyson?" Her voice trembled, the words feeling like a physical weight she could barely lift.

The man on the other end, oblivious to her shock, continued. "Your son was involved in a severe car accident on Sunny Road. He was killed instantly. The body is in a terrible state, and we need a family member to come to the Municipal Hospital to confirm the identity."

Margot felt an invisible hand clench around her heart, squeezing so tightly she could barely breathe. Her knuckles turned white as she gripped the phone. She ended the call and shot to her feet, intending to rush to the hospital, but a wave of dizziness washed over her, and she nearly collapsed.

Livia watched Margot's reaction, stunned.

She had never seen this woman so genuinely panicked. Margot was always so confident, so in control, but now, Livia saw utter devastation in her eyes. What could have happened?

Margot clutched her chest, leaning against the sofa to catch her breath before stumbling toward the door.

Curious to know what news could have shattered Margot's composure, Livia got up and followed her. She tailed Margot's car all the way to the Municipal Hospital, the closest one to the airport. As she followed her to the morgue, a horrifying realization began to dawn.

Could it be… Theon was dead?

Even with the head destroyed, she knew it was him. The familiar build, the smile that now only existed in her memory—it was all there in her mind.

How could this have happened? Just two hours ago, he had been yelling at her, refusing to leave the country. Now, he was a cold, broken body.

The pain was so intense it felt like her heart was splitting in two. She couldn't accept it. She couldn't believe her son was gone.

After a long moment of sobbing over the body, she turned on Herbert, her voice a raw scream. "Herbert! I told you to protect him!"
