Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 819

At the mention of styling her daughter’s outfit, Sapphira’s eyes, a passion that touched on both her interests and her profession, lit up.

“Of course,” she said immediately. “Leave it to me.”

After breakfast, Larissa headed to Starlight Media.

“Good morning, Ms. Judson,” Ursa greeted her, then followed her into the office with a stack of files to give her a status update. “Ms. Judson, after your masterful move yesterday, Wynn’s name has been cleared, and his popularity has soared to an all-time high.”

“What about Gale Entertainment?” Larissa asked, settling into her chair.

“Gale Entertainment’s official Twitter announced that the female lead will be replaced by another one of their actresses, Melusine. Their production launch ceremony is today,” Ursa reported.

So they were determined to push forward with “Soaring High”.

“Ms. Judson, since there was a twist in Wynn and Tawny’s story, does that mean Rigby’s situation is…?” Ursa was practically vibrating with anticipation for the next counterattack. Working for Ms. Judson was like reading the most satisfying novel, watching her slap down her opponents one by one.

Meeting Ursa’s eager gaze, Larissa smiled. “That’s right. All those rumors about Rigby were baseless lies. The classic case of a thief crying, ‘Stop, thief!’”

“That’s fantastic! So ‘Heaven’s Will’ isn’t a collection of disgraced actors at all!” Ursa was ecstatic. “Ms. Judson, did you know from the start that the rumors about Wynn and Rigby were false?”

“Of course,” Larissa said. “‘Heaven’s Will’ is my debut novel. I’m very protective of my reputation.”

Ursa looked like she was about to cry. “Ms. Judson, you are truly a visionary. My perspective was far too narrow!”

“Alright, that’s enough. Get back to work,” Larissa said.

Lucius’s strategy against “Heaven’s Will” had actually been quite clever.

Unfortunately for him, the man in charge of executing that plan, Gale Entertainment’s chairman Damon, was incompetent. He had ceded too much power to Theon, which had led to disastrous casting choices.

Of course, Lucius had probably assumed that the casting for “Heaven’s Will” was its own landmine. But he was wrong. The dirt on Wynn and Rigby was nothing but slander and lies.

Larissa planned to ensure that “Soaring High” was dead on arrival. First, they had poached trash Leopold from her, and now, she would make sure Gale Entertainment suffered another devastating financial blow.

After that, she truly doubted that Damon would rather let his company rot, or hand it over to his nephew as he had threatened, than sell his shares to Livia at a low price.

As Larissa was lost in thought, a knock at the door broke her concentration.
