Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 864

Sharon was at a loss for words.

Torrin cried, his voice thick with bitterness. “Why is it Haskell who gets to be by her side and help her when she’s in trouble, not me? Why don’t I even have a chance?”

She sighed. He said he’d given up, but his heart was clearly still full of resentment.

But that was life. Sometimes, you just lose, and no amount of bitterness could change that. Especially in love, you had to accept defeat gracefully. You couldn't force it.

Sharon exited the livestream, turned off the tablet, and tossed it onto the table. She stood up, walked over to her foolish brother, and patted his shoulder gently. “Time is the antidote to heartbreak. Just endure it. You’ll get through this.”

With that, she headed toward the dining room. “Watching Larissa eat so heartily reminded me I haven’t had dinner yet. Dad doesn’t look like he’s coming back tonight. I’m going to eat. Are you coming?”

Torrin didn’t answer, merely wiping his tears and muttering to himself, “Can I really ever forget?”

After they finished their fondue, the lawyer Larissa had summoned arrived.

Larissa wiped her mouth with a napkin and then gestured to the reporters. “Come on, bring your cameras closer. I want you all to get a good look at the file in my hands.”

She handed the documents to the lawyer. “Please review this and explain to the deceased's family who is truly responsible for this medical malpractice incident.”

[Poor Neville! He was totally set up!]

Larissa asked, “So, this was a commercial conspiracy specifically targeting Judson Pharmaceuticals, not an accident, correct?”

“That's correct!” the lawyer confirmed.

Larissa then turned to face the reporters’ cameras and declared, “You all heard that. Next, I will be filing a police report for commercial fraud, requesting a freeze on Haven Health's accounts, and suing HumanaMed Group for patent infringement!”

At this, she shot an icy glare at the middle-aged man holding the portrait of the deceased.
