Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 889

"Don't mind them, sweetheart. Let's pick up where we left off," Damon said with a triumphant smirk, pulling the woman back into his arms and lowering his head to kiss her pouty lips.

Suddenly, a series of sickening thuds echoed through the room. Damon looked up, startled. Lucius’s eight bodyguards were fighting with ferocious speed and precision. Despite being outnumbered, they were dominating the fight. In a matter of moments, Damon’s men were all on the ground, groaning in pain.

Damon’s face went white. A tremor ran through his body, and a sheen of sweat broke out on his forehead. He shoved the woman away and stared at Lucius in terror. "Mr. Lincoln, I…"

Lucius strode toward him, his face a grim mask. When he reached Damon, he unleashed a vicious kick, striking him squarely in the stomach.

"Agh!"

Damon screamed as he and the sofa were sent tumbling to the floor.

The young woman shrieked at the sudden violence. Scrambling up like a frightened rabbit, she stared at Lucius, her face etched with fear.

Lucius shot her a cold, merciless glance. Two of his bodyguards moved in. One grabbed the woman while the other hauled Damon up from the floor and shoved him in front of Lucius.

"Mr. Lincoln, I… he forced me! I have nothing to do with him, please let me go…" the woman whimpered, begging for her life.

Lucius ignored her completely. He picked up a paring knife from a nearby table, bent down, and without a moment's hesitation, plunged it into Damon’s upper thigh.

"Aaargh!"

Damon’s scream was bloodcurdling.

Lucius planted a foot on Damon’s face. "Feeling cocky now? You think the Lincoln family is finished?"

Damon was petrified. He should have known better than to provoke this monster, especially now. The searing pain in his thigh was unbearable.

A moment later, his phone rang. It was Livia. Damon answered with a trembling hand.

"You've had a change of heart? Are you really willing to sell me your shares in Gale Entertainment?" Livia asked, her voice laced with suspicion.

Trying not to betray his terror, Damon took a deep breath.

"I have," he said, striving for a steady tone. "I can't handle Larissa. You said you could save the company, so it's yours."

"Fine. I'll give you fifty million."

"Fifty million?!" Damon almost forgot the pain. "The company is worth five billion!"

"It ‘was’," Livia retorted coolly. "Have you seen how far the stock has dropped because of you and Theon Tyson? You're not giving me a company, you're handing me a pile of debt and problems. Fifty million is what I have."
