Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 895

Josette's eyes blazed with fury. "Do you think I'd believe a word you say? Larissa, if anything happens to my son, I won't let you get away with it! I'll take you down with me, even if it's a life for a life!"

Larissa found Josette’s threats tedious. While she posed no real danger, having her show up and cause trouble every other day would be a headache. She considered for a moment. "Fine. Since you're so eager to see your son, I'll take you to him. And if, after you see him, you still want a happy mother-son reunion, I promise I won't stand in your way."

As she spoke, she flicked a silver needle toward Josette. Just before the woman crumpled, Larissa ordered, "001, put her in the trunk."

001 caught Josette's collapsing body, slung her over its shoulder, opened the trunk, and tossed her inside.

Once back in the car, Larissa called Nightveil. "Have someone pick up Josette and take her to be reunited with her son, Fergus."

"Right away, boss."

Larissa wasn't the least bit concerned about Josette’s disappearance. Besides Kiernan, who might still harbor some lingering fatherly affection, there probably wasn't a single person in the world who cared if Josette lived or died.

Haskell had just returned to the family estate when he found Sire waiting for him by the gate. Dressed in a heavy green parka, a wind-proof hat, and gloves, Sire stood with his hands shoved in his pockets, clearly waiting for him.

"Sire," Haskell said with a smile as he approached. "Were you waiting for me?"

Sire typed a message on his phone and held it out for Haskell to read: [When are you going to bring your brother back?]

"Didn't Rigby tell you?" Haskell replied. "He doesn't want to live at the estate."

"Of course," Crispin said, handing him a cane. Pushing the now-empty wheelchair, Crispin remarked, "For Sire to wait here just to say that… he must be ready to make his move."

"Yes," Haskell said, leaning on the crutch and taking a difficult step forward. "If he waits any longer, Fraser and Solomon will start getting anxious."

Each step was a struggle, but the joy of being able to walk again overshadowed any difficulty.

Crispin followed close behind, his heart swelling with emotion. The young master was truly walking on his own again. Meeting Ms. Judson was the greatest fortune of his life.

"Haskell?" Zoltan, who had been chatting with Fraser, looked up as his grandson entered the room. His face lit up with joyful surprise. "You can walk by yourself?"
