Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 929

Haskell was surprised by the suggestion. Larissa didn’t seem like the type to believe in fate. He smiled. “Larissa, you have money, a great career, and love. What else is there to ask about?”

She thought for a moment. “True.”

It wasn't that she actually wanted her fortune told. As far as she was concerned, her life—family, love, friendship, and career—was perfect. Besides, she didn’t believe anyone else could predict her future. It was just a spur-of-the-moment idea.

And besides, if the prediction was good, great. But if it was bad, it would just ruin the mood of their honey-week. Better not.

“Let’s skip it,” Larissa said, and they continued walking hand-in-hand deeper into the old town.

They came to a street lined almost entirely with small pubs. Suddenly, Haskell asked, “Do you want to hear a song?”

“Hmm?” Larissa processed his question and then joked, “Sure. What, are you going to sing for me yourself?”

She was only kidding, but Haskell smiled faintly and said, “Yes. I’ll sing for you myself.”

Larissa looked at him, surprised. His expression was completely serious; he wasn’t joking at all.

“You? Here? You’re going to sing for me?” she asked again, incredulously.

Haskell nodded earnestly. “Yes.”

Larissa hadn’t forgotten the time he’d tried to sing her to sleep. She smiled, a little awkwardly. “Honey, you really don’t have to put yourself through that.”

“It’s not a hardship to sing for you,” he said, all seriousness. “Come on, I’ll go inside and sing for you.”

He took her hand and led her into a nearby pub called “The Hangover.”

Seeing how enthusiastic he was, Larissa decided to go along with it. No matter how he sounded, it was her husband singing for her, after all.

Haskell had Crispin speak with the pub’s manager. A few moments later, the manager eagerly agreed to let Haskell perform.

Chapter 929 1

“No way! What’s he doing here? If he’s here, then… does that mean the legendary Larissa is here too?”

Chapter 929 2

Before the whispers could escalate, Haskell spoke from the stage.

Chapter 929 3

The mood in the room immediately soared.

“Whoa, Haskell is singing a Meat Loaf song? I didn’t know he had such classic taste!”

“What’s wrong with that? I love classic song!”
