Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 1176

A bitter smile tugged at Evan’s lips.

“Something’s wrong!”

Ivy’s voice suddenly cut through the room, interrupting Evan and Amos.

The second Amos heard that, his heart tightened.

“What happened?”

He grabbed Ivy by the arm.

“Yara went to Eirden.”

Amos went silent.

So did Evan.

The moment Amos heard that Yara had gone to Eirden, a headache started pounding behind his temples.

She really knew how to make things worse.

He turned to Evan.

“Let me make one thing clear. We’re not sending anyone after her this time.”

Evan said nothing.

“And besides, there’s no need to rescue her.”

After everything between Yara and Aaron, Amos had finally figured it out.

That so-called exchange last time had never even been necessary.

And what had it accomplished?

Stella had ended up dead.

Evan’s chest tightened painfully.

“Aaron would never...”

“Stop. Don’t even start.”

Amos cut him off before he could finish.

He already knew what Evan was about to say.

“I know Aaron is an asshole. But whatever is going on between him and Yara is personal. It’s a relationship issue. We don’t need to send people in and get involved.”

As far as Amos was concerned, if Evan wanted him to send men after Yara, the answer was absolutely no.

Evan’s eyes turned cold.

“Between the two of them?”

His voice sharpened.

“What relationship issues? Who says she has anything going on with that bastard?”

Every time Evan remembered that Aaron had insisted on using Stella for the exchange last time, only for everything to end in disaster, rage tore through him all over again.

He couldn’t forgive himself.

And he couldn’t forgive Aaron either.

If Stella had been driven to her death, then Evan and Aaron had both played a part in it.
