Who was Remi, after all?
How many missions had she carried out over the years?
Anyone who wanted to track her would have a hard time doing it.
Stella frowned.
“But if they decide to look for you again, finding you would be easy.”
Because Remi was still alive.
All of her records still existed.
Unlike Stella and Felix, whose identities had effectively been erased.
Remi looked at her.
“Why would they suddenly start looking for me? It’s not like I’m you or Mr. Hernandez.”
Stella’s expression changed.
Remi shrugged.
“If you’re really that worried, I can fake my death too.”
Stella stared at her.
Fake her death too?
Did Remi think that was something you could casually do?
If she suddenly staged her death now, it would only draw more attention.
And once that happened, Evan and Aaron would definitely become even more suspicious.
Stella took a deep breath.
“I don’t care how you found this place, and I don’t care why you came. Leave. Now.”
Remi blinked.
“What? You want me to…”
“Go. Right now.”
Stella didn’t hesitate.
Remi couldn’t stay here.
And not just Remi.
Stella and Felix needed to leave too.
Remi looked offended.
“Wait, seriously?”
She had just gotten here, and Stella was already throwing her out?
How was that reasonable?
“It’s not like I’m going to betray you. What are you doing?”
She was clearly unhappy now.
She had barely arrived.
“I treated you pretty well before, and now you…”
“Remi.”
