Chapter 1286
“Evan is in Eirden. You know that, right?” Aaron asked.
“What does that have to do with me?” Felix replied.
Felix couldn’t care less about Evan right now.
The only people he was keeping an eye on were Aaron and Yara.
With those two tangled up together, Felix was worried they might do something that would hurt Stella.
“Evan’s been blocked from leaving Eirden,” Aaron said. “Do you know what that means?”
Felix went silent.
They had trapped Evan in Eirden already?
It took Felix only a moment to piece together what was going on.
A faint smile appeared on his lips.
“Your father did it?”
“Yes.”
“Then why are you calling me?”
“Stella probably said something to him that she shouldn’t have. Felix, Evan’s in real danger right now.”
Felix’s expression immediately darkened.
Something Stella shouldn’t have said?
“What exactly wasn’t she supposed to say?”
“What the Wright family put her through? Or the fact that they nearly killed her?”
Did Aaron seriously think Stella wasn’t supposed to tell Michael about any of that?
“She already settled those scores with the Wright family, didn’t she?” Aaron said.
“So because she settled them, she’s never allowed to talk about what happened?”
Felix’s voice turned cold.
That word, *shouldn’t*, irritated him more than anything.
“Aaron, you knew from the beginning that you and Yara should never have gotten involved with each other.”
He had known that from the start.
So how had things ended up like this?
Yes, feelings could sometimes get out of control.

But when a person knew from the very beginning that something could only end badly and still let it reach this point, Felix genuinely couldn’t understand it.
Aaron suddenly asked,
“Do you want Evan dead?”
Felix didn’t answer the question.
“I can’t reach Stella. She always puts her phone on Sleep mode at night.”
He knew exactly what Aaron was getting at.
And that answer was a clear refusal to get involved.
Aaron went silent.
His heart sank even further.
He still had no idea how many people Michael had sent after Evan.
But this was Eirden.
And now that Evan had been blocked from leaving, it wouldn’t take long for Michael’s people to find him.
At the moment, Stella was probably the only person Michael would actually listen to.
And no one could reach her.
Aaron drew a deep breath.
“Then I’ll go to the hospital and find her.”
He knew exactly how Michael felt about the relationship between him and Stella now.
But he still had to try.
Felix replied flatly,
“Going to Stella won’t help.”
And honestly, going directly to Michael wouldn’t help either.
Michael had nearly died on an operating table because of everything that had happened with Stella.
It wasn’t that he hadn’t cared about his daughter before.
He had simply been caught up in too many things at the time, and he had trusted Aaron.
Michael had believed Aaron would handle everything properly.
Instead, Stella had ultimately been pushed so far that she had to fake her own death just to escape.
So as far as Felix could see, Aaron was right about one thing.
