Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 1310

Gray was currently handling the paperwork for the mines.

Once Stella received what she wanted, she would naturally find a way to persuade Michael to release Evan.

“So from now on, you’d better behave yourself. Understood?”

There was a dangerous edge to Aaron’s voice.

He was clearly displeased by the scene Yara had caused.

Hearing the warning in his tone, Yara’s heart trembled.

News that Yara had slit her wrist soon reached Stella as well.

When she returned to the castle that evening, she found Michael sitting there with an extremely grim expression.

One look at his face told her he had heard about it too.

Stella walked over and sat across from him.

As soon as the staff saw that she was back, they immediately brought out several of her favorite dishes.

“There’s no need. I’ve already eaten,” Stella said.

She’d eaten with Felix. It had only been a bowl of noodles, but that was more than enough for her.

“With Felix?” Michael asked.

Stella nodded.

“Yes.”

“You shouldn’t see him again.”

In Michael’s eyes, Felix was no better than Evan.

Felix had hurt Stella when she’d been forced to fake her death to escape everything.

That alone was enough to make Michael deeply disapprove of him.

Stella chuckled.

“He’s returning to Harbor City the day after tomorrow.”

“And?”

“Don’t worry, Dad,” Stella said with a smile.

She knew Michael meant that he didn’t want her seeing Felix again.

As her father, he didn’t consider either Evan or Felix worthy of her.

As it happened, Stella felt the same way.

“Then why did you see him?”

“Because seeing me only makes him suffer more.”

Letting him believe there might still be hope when they had no future was its own kind of torment.

Michael fell silent.

“Torment?”
