Chapter 297
Then she absolutely could not give them what they wanted.
And as for Evan…
Now that he knew Stella had given up on divorce, he was probably thrilled.
Good.
Then he could learn this the hard way.
A Stella Rowan who stayed married to him was far more terrifying.
Jennifer looked at Stella. “So what’s your plan now?”
Stella said, “Obviously, I’m moving back into the family estate.”
The Wright family estate was the source of their pride. Everyone who lived there carried themselves with the same overpowering sense of superiority.
“Move back,” Jennifer said through gritted teeth. “And take your people with you.”
The Wright family’s rigid little world needed to be shaken apart.
Once Gray learned Stella was moving back to the Wright estate, he carefully picked several maids he had brought over from Eirden. All of them were highly trained and physically capable.
Their main job was to look after Stella’s daily life.
The little trouble Stella had caused before was already enough to make the Wright family crack.
What came next would be the real beginning of total chaos.
Over the next few days, Stella focused on eating well and recovering. She made herself eat more and worked hard to rebuild her strength.
In the kitchen, Aaron had Gray bring in a nutritionist he had personally vetted.

Based on Stella’s condition, the nutritionist planned every meal around what her body needed most.
And Stella’s health began improving at a visible rate.
On the third day came the auction.
When Stella got up that morning, Felix was already there. Over his suit, he wore a black overcoat.
His clothes were refined and elegant, but behind the gold-rimmed glasses was a pair of sharp, commanding
eyes.
In the car, Felix asked Stella, “Even if you got divorced, you could still turn the Wright family upside down, couldn’t you?”
They had not seen each other these past few days, but Felix still knew everything that had happened to her.

Aaron had called him too and said Stella’s state of mind was not right.
Felix had people look intsit, but they still could not find out what Grandma Diana had said to her.
His tone gave nothing away, but it was obvious he wanted Stella to divorce Evan as soon as possible.
Stella glanced at him, holding down the storm inside her.
When she stayed silent, Felix looked at her. Behind the lenses, his gaze remained unreadable. “Or are you regretting the divorce now?”
Stella frowned. “What?”
“You don’t want to divorce Evan anymore?”
Stella went quiet.
Didn’t want to?
She understood what he meant. She sniffed once, then said, “There was never going to be any future
between Evan and me.”
What future could there possibly be with the son of the people who killed her mother?
“Then why,” Felix asked, “do you insist on taking revenge while still married to him?”
Stella said, “Because I need to get into the Wright family estate.”
Felix paused.
Into the Wright estate?
She…
Stella said, “I want every single person in that family to know no peace. Not for a single second.”
By the time she said ‘no peace’, hate had already surfaced in her voice.
Felix looked at her. “Why?”
“Because they killed my mother.”
Stella had not hidden this from him. Not after everything Felix had done for her, and not after the way his attitude toward Evan had changed.
But she also knew Felix was close to Aaron.
