Chapter 369
Stella tapped the video open and watched it.
Jennifer asked, “Did you see it?”
Stella said, “Yes. I saw it.”
She had seen it, and her mood instantly improved
In the past, what kind of status had Evan held in Harbor City?
Everyone respectfully called him Mr. Wright.
That kind of awe had now turned into being shut out at the door. Ope could easily imagine how Evan felt.
“Then he must be making a huge fuss about divorce now, right?”
He had grown up like a favored son of heaven, and now he was being humiliated like this because of Stella.
No matter how unwilling he had been to divorce before, Jennifer figured he must be desperate to end it now.
Stella said, “Of course he’s making a fuss. He already caused a scene this morning.”
“Don’t agree to it. Make him angry. Make him suffer.”
Back when Stella had asked for a divorce, hadn’t Evan done exactly that?
He had completely ignored how she felt and stubbornly refused.
Since he had been so unwilling to divorce before, she might as well give him exactly what he had wanted.
Stella said, “Half a month.”
“Half a month? Isn’t that too easy on them?”
If they divorced after only half a month, this little bit of suffering would be nothing to the Wright family.
Stella said, “In half a month, everything should be over.”
It was only half a month.
But the pain of these fifteen days would make every second feel like a year to them.

After hanging up with Jennifer, Stella said to Gray, “They refused to eat the free food this morning. When they come back, they won’t be allowed to just eat anymore.”
Gray understood at once. “All right. I’ll arrange it.
“Fire all the Wright family’s staff.”
All the Wright family’s staff would be dismissed.
As for the people Stella had brought, they were only responsible for Stella’s meals and daily needs. They would not handle anything else.
So Gray knew exactly who would have to take care of everything in this house.

At Stella’s order, every servant who had previously worked for the Wright family was dismissed.
When Dora had left that morning, she had confidently told Summer, “Instead of staying in the old estate and putting up with her, we might as well all stay at a hotel. Once we’re separated, she won’t be able to torment us anymore.”
Taking her daughter-in-law to a hotel to recover after childbirth would be a massive joke if the wealthy
wives heard about it.
But Dora no longer cared.
Summer agreed too. She did not want to stay in the old estate and face Stella either. It was torture for her
too.
When they left in the morning, they had still thought that as long as they had money, there was nowhere they could not live comfortably.
Why did they have to stay at the old estate?
But in the end…
After an entire morning, they were starving and exhausted.
No hotel or restaurant would let them in. Even small diners chased them out the moment they saw them.
“That damned Stella. How on earth did she do this?”
Harbor City was huge.
And yet not a single hotel would let them stay, and not a single restaurant would let them eat.
After all this trouble, they had found nowhere to stay and nothing to eat.
Fiona was so hungry she could not even speak.
At this point, she did not want to say a single word.
She had probably never imagined in her life that there would come a day when she had money and still could not spend it.
Summer’s face was dark too.
Dora snapped, “I’m so furious I could die.”
They had agreed to stay outside and eat outside, just to get through this period first.
But now that they were blocked everywhere, they had no choice but to return.
Summer asked, “Can we go somewhere else?”
“What?”
Dora did not understand what she meant at first.
Summer said, “Let’s leave Harbor City.”
