Chapter 377
Summer was furious too.
Just wait.
Once her mother came back from Eirden, she would settle the score with all of them.
She could see it clearly now.
The moment Dora herself was having a bad time, she no longer had any kindness left for Summer either.
Summer was still recovering after giving birth.
And the baby she had delivered had been a Wright child.
They had failed to take proper care of her after childbirth, yet they still thought they were in the right. They even dared give her attitude.
Jennifer drove straight to the Wright family’s old estate.
She took a lot of bags from the car and carried them inside.
Stella was trying on the red diamond bracelet Gray had arranged to have delivered. When she saw Jennifer come in with her arms full, she asked, “Why are you here? And why did you bring so much?”
“Felix asked me to deliver these.”
Stella fell silent.
Felix?
Over the past two days, because she was focused on making life miserable for the Wright family, she had not gone out even though Felix had previously said he would take her to eat something good.
The best way to make the Wright family suffer was for her to stay right here and not leave.
“These are probably supplements,” Jennifer said. “Have your nutritionist figure out how to prepare them for you.”
She handed everything to Gray. Gray took the bags, then passed them to the maids.
The maids immediately carried the items to the kitchen.
Stella was having afternoon tea, so Jennifer was given a cup too.
She took one whiff and clicked her tongue. “Wow. This is seriously nourishing.”
Just from the smell, she could tell how rich it was.
But Stella’s body did need extra nourishment right now.
Stella picked up a piece of baked fruit with her fork and handed it to Jennifer. Jennifer took it and popped it straight into her mouth.

Then she said to Stella, “On my way here, I saw those three women walking on the road. What happened?”
“We’re cutting household expenses. Cars use too much gas, so they can’t be used whenever people feel like it.”
Jennifer froze.
Hearing Stella say that, she was stunned for a second.
Then a look of pure satisfaction spread across her face. “You’re incredible.”
They were all small things.
But using these small things to torment people who had been pampered their whole lives was exactly what made it so unbearable.
“You should’ve seen their faces. They looked so bitter.”
Stella said, “If they could still smile right now, that would be the real miracle.”
Jennifer nodded. “True.”
Wasn’t that the whole point?
Back when they bullied Stella, they had been so pleased with themselves.
Now that they were suffering Stella’s retaliation, of course they were full of resentment.
Jennifer looked at Stella. “I can tell Felix treats you differently.”
At the mention of Felix, Stella’s eyes darkened.
“It’s impossible between me and him.”
Jennifer paused.
She knew why Stella said that.
Felix and Evan had been so close before.
And now things had become like this.
ľ
Although Felix had been helping her all along, Stella’s years with Evan had worn her down so badly that she no longer had any illusions about life.
“Then what are you two now…” Jennifer did not finish the sentence.
Stella said, “Once I return to Eirden, everything will be over.”
In any case, she would not stay in Harbor City for long.
Besides, the way Felix treated her now was something Stella could completely understand as him doing a favor for her brother, Aaron.
“He’s only looking after me because of my brother.”
