Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 391

Chapter 391

Dora’s heart leaped straight into her throat.

Evan glanced at Stella, then looked down at the spoonful of oatmeal she had brought to his lips.

It was still steaming.

He did not open his mouth.

Seeing that he would not eat, Stella’s smile deepened. “What’s wrong?”

Evan looked at the oatmeal, then back at Stella.

Stella said, “Your mother washed everything herself. I sat here the moment I came downstairs. The entire process happened right under your mother’s eyes.

“Even if you don’t trust me, surely you trust your own mother.”

Stella said the words “your own mother” with extra softness.

But the gentler and more coaxing her voice became as she urged Evan to eat, the tighter Dora’s heart squeezed.

And Evan naturally noticed Dora’s increasingly strained expression.

He glanced in her direction.

Dora secretly gave him a look, warning him not to eat.

That one look made Evan’s expression change completely.

He turned back to Stella.

Meeting her smiling eyes, he was almost certain now.

Stella knew everything.

And even knowing everything, she was still trying to make him eat it.

Evan said, “Are you sure you want me to eat this?”

“Your mother got up at five in the morning to wash the vegetables. Don’t waste all her effort.”

As Stella said this, her gaze visibly cooled.

Evan stared at her in silence.

Stella said, “Open your mouth.”

Her tone sharpened.

“What? Your life matters, but mine…”

“Enough!” Dora finally snapped.

She knew it now.

Stella knew.

She knew everything.

And yet she wanted to feed that poisoned oatmeal to her son. She wanted all of them to eat it together.

That vicious woman.

Dora was so furious that she swept everything off the dining table.

Plates and bowls crashed to the floor.

The atmosphere in the dining room instantly turned tense and dangerous.

Dora pointed at Stella with a trembling finger. “You… you poisonous woman. You’re so vicious!”

The bowl in Stella’s hand hit the table with a sharp crack.

The force was too great.

The bowl rolled several times across the tabletop, and the oatmeal inside spilled all over Fiona.

Fiona screamed in fury. “Ah!”

Stella looked at Dora coldly. “I’m poisonous? You’re the one who added the poison.”

Dora froze.

Evan froze.

Fiona and Summer froze too.

Stella folded her arms and looked at Evan beside her. “Am I the poisonous one?”

This was the Wright family.

When they did something evil, and she found out and fought back, they would turn around and accuse her

instead.

Just like now.

Dora was clearly the one who had poisoned the food, yet she was standing here calling Stella poisonous.

Evan’s face was livid.

He glanced at Dora, then looked back at Stella.

Stella said, “Who is poisonous?”

Her tone grew heavier.

Dora’s heart pounded wildly. “If you hadn’t pushed me, would I have become like this? This is all because of you. You should have gotten out of this house!”
