Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 510

Chapter 510

Patrick looked into Larry Langdon and reported all of his details to Evan.

Evan did not even know how he ended the call.

When he went downstairs, he was wearing an extra coat for once. Stella had already finished breakfast.

Evan sat across from her and glanced outside at Dora and Fiona, who were shoveling snow. Then he turned his cold gaze back to Stella.

Stella was flipping through a magazine, ignoring him completely as if she did not see him at all.

Evan could not stand that attitude.

At last, he spoke.

“What’s your relationship with Larry Langdon?”

Larry Langdon.

He was part of the management team in Hogarth Group’s finance division.

Stella even knew someone from Hogarth Group’s finance department. She really was more capable than he had imagined.

When Stella heard the name, she had no idea who he was.

She asked casually, “Who is that?”

“You don’t know him?”

Hearing her ask who Larry Langdon was, Evan raised his brows slightly. Suspicion entered his voice.

Clearly, he did not believe that Stella did not know Larry Langdon.

Stella lifted her eyes. “Should I?”

“Then let me ask another way. How many assets under your name are being moved to Eirden? And why is Larry Langdon from Hogarth Group helping you handle it?”

Stella fell silent.

At the mention of Hogarth Group, Stella understood.

So that person was from Hogarth Group.

Her brother had arranged all of these matters. She did not know who was specifically responsible for handling them.

Usually, Gray was the one communicating with them.

Now that she had a powerful older brother, she did not need to worry about anything herself.

When Evan mentioned the assets under her name, Stella finally looked at him.

“The assets under my name?”

Well.

It seemed Patrick had finally found something useful.

He had even discovered that she owned assets.

How rare.

How long had it taken him?

Evan tightened his grip on the cigarette between his fingers. “Didn’t you say assets have to be divided in a divorce? Fine. Then bring yours out and divide them too.”

If she wanted to tear everything apart, then fine.

They would tear everything apart.

Before, Evan had still felt somewhat guilty toward Stella. So even when she asked for five billion, he had been willing to give it to her.

But not anymore.

After everything Stella had done to torture them, he was ready to drag this whole thing into the mud with her.

No one was going to have peaceful days?

Fine.

Then none of them would.

She could forget about living well too.

After several days of torment, Evan had completely lost his patience. Now, he no longer bothered being polite to Stella.

When Stella heard him say that her assets should be divided too, she laughed out loud.

“Evan, I don’t think you’ve figured out your situation yet.”

What had the Wright family been reduced to?

For him to say something like this now was nothing but wishful thinking.

If he were still the untouchable Mr. Wright from before, then perhaps Stella really would not be able to protect what belonged to her.

But things were different now.

Now, Evan Wright could do nothing to Stella.

And under these circumstances, he still wanted to drag her down and fight dirty?

That thought alone would only leave the Wright family torn to pieces.

As for Stella, it would not affect her at all.

Stella said, “Bring out my assets and divide them? If I refuse, are you planning to sue me?”

Her tone was full of mockery when she said it.
