Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 522

Chapter 522

Felix and Jennifer were both right.

She could not still be married to Evan after he learned her real identity.

If Evan refused to divorce her out of spite at that point, it would be a huge headache for her.

He already knew about the companies under her name.

He also knew that Larry Langdon was helping her handle the relocation. If he kept digging, he might soon discover her relationship with the Hogarth family.

So before that happened, she had to make Evan sign the divorce agreement first.

Evan clenched his fists. “You seem awfully eager to get divorced. Is it because Christian is coming to Harbor City Are you afraid he’ll look down on you for being a married woman?”

He said it through clenched teeth.

Back when he thought he had lost to Felix, Evan could still accept it somewhat.

After all, Felix had once been his friend, and he was indeed exceptional.

But now, she was trying to divorce him because of some old man.

That was something Evan could not accept.

Stella said, “No. The one in a hurry is you, not me.”

Eyan fell silent.

Yes.

He was in a hurry.

Stella had seen it clearly. These past few days, he had been desperate to divorce her at every moment.

So now, she was using that desperation against him, threatening him into handing the entire Wright family over to her.

Just then, Evan received a call from Conrad, who was overseas.

“What kind of grudge do you have against Hogarth Group?” Conrad demanded furiously over the phone.

Evan froze.

A grudge?

What kind of grudge could he possibly have against Hogarth Group?

He subconsciously glanced at Stella.

Then he asked into the phone, “What happened?”

“It was one thing for them to go after Wright Group, but now they’re coming after me too! Evan Wright, do you have any idea how much trouble you’ve caused this time?”

Conrad was furious on the other end.

Clearly, Hogarth Group had not gone easy on him either.

Now, Aaron was suppressing the Wright family from every direction, sparing no one.

Evan wanted to fight back?

He wanted to drag Christian down?

Then Aaron would make sure he understood what complete suppression looked like.

It felt as if a storm had been stuffed into Evan’s mind.

In the end, he did not even know how he hung up the phone.

With the blood in his body turning cold, he looked at Stella. “It’s Christian again, isn’t it?”

“Didn’t you say you were going to make me lose Christian? That you were going to make Christian get kicked out of Hogarth Group?” Stella said. “You failed. But now, he has dragged the Wright family even deeper into hell.”

Evan was silent.

Stella continued, “So, have you figured out how you’re going to deal with Christian?”

The words “deal with” sounded unbearably mocking coming from her mouth.

Evan was so furious that his eyes were streaked with red.

Just then, Old Mrs. Wright called.

Seeing his grandmother, who had not called him in a long time, Evan instinctively glanced at Stella.

A bad feeling rose in his chest.

Stella said nothing.

Even from a short distance away, she could still see the word Grandma on his phone screen.

Gray had moved quickly.

Aaron had reacted just as fast.

Now, the entire Wright family had fallen into a hell they had never experienced before.

Under Stella’s smiling gaze, Evan answered the phone with trembling fingers.
