Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 586

Chapter 586

When Stella went downstairs she saw Evan sitting on the living room sofa.

His hair was slightly messy, clearly tousled by the cold wind when he came in from outside.

People really did need a comfortable environment before they could care about maintaining a flawless appearance.

Evan had always been a clean freak. In the past, he would never have tolerated looking this disheveled.

But now?

Even with his hair blown out of place, he had only run his fingers through it once, barely fixing it.

Stella took one glance at him, then looked away.

After coming downstairs, she headed straight for the dining room.

Even though she had been ignoring Evan all this time, he still could not stand seeing her treat him with such indifference.

Just as she was about to enter the dining room, Evan spoke from behind her.

“Why did you put them all in the same room?”

His voice was tight with restrained anger.

Clearly, he already knew Dora and Summer had fought several times last night.

He knew, but there was nothing he could do about it.

Stella turned and glanced at him. There was a cold edge in her eyes.

She did not speak.

Evan continued, “You did it on purpose.”

His tone was certain.

Stella said, “Yes. I did it on purpose.”

This was who Stella was now.

No matter what reason she gave, Evan would not believe her anyway

So she might as well agree with whatever he said. That was much simpler.

When Evan heard that, his expression darkened shapply

“Good You really are something”

So now she was not even bothering to hide her intentions anymine?

She really was something &urogant beyond belie

Stella said, “Isn’t this what they wanted

“When did they ever want this?” Evan smagd

hi the past, they had liked gathering together toes tule stella

But now?

What was the situation NOW?

Dota and Summer could barely stand the sight of each other. How could this possibly be what they wanted? Putting them together now was practically putting two people who wished each other dead in the same room.

And Stella still said this was what they wanted?

Stella said, “Have you forgotten? They all love a lively house.”

There was a smile in her voice when she said the word lively.

But Evan’s heart sank hard.

In that instant, an old memory surfaced in his mind.

It had been one Fourth of July, and Stella had not come back to the old house.

Dora had looked displeased and said to him, “A family should be together for the holiday. That’s what makes it feel lively.”

Because of that sentence, he had called Stella and told her to return to the old house.

That had been Stella’s first holiday at the Wright family estate.

In truth, she had not wanted to come back that day.

After all, ever since she and Evan had gotten married, Dora had made it clear that she did not like her.

Because of that, Stella had never wanted to force herself into the Wright family’s presence.
