Chapter 594
Summer felt as if she could barely go on living.
After Evan left, Dora beat her again.
Summer had grown up as a pampered heiress. With her limited strength, how could she possibly fight against Dora,
now full of resentment?
At this point, Dora seemed to be pouring all her strength into one thing.
Beating Summer.
Inside the house, Stella looked out at Dora and Summer wrestling in the show again. The smile on her lips could barel suppressed.
Jennifer did not have work today, so she had gotten up late.
When she came downstairs, she saw Dora and Summer fighting outside through the floor–to–ceiling window. She cou help clicking her tongue.
“So now they fight every single day?”
What kind of life was this?
Stella said, “Not just every day. They fight during the day, they fight at night. They fight around the clock.”
Basically, as soon as they recovered a little strength, they had to go another round.
Dora had always loved Steven the most. Steven had been her pride.
And now, her proudest son had died because of Summer.
Of course Dora would pour every bit of strength she had into beating Summer.
Jennifer said, “That’s pretty good. You get to watch a show every day. At least you won’t be bored.”
“It is lively,” Stella said. “Isn’t this the liveliness they wanted before?”
Jennifer fell silent.
Hearing Stella say that reminded her of exactly how those people had orice tormented Stella.
Back then, although Stella had married Evan, she had never wanted to play along with the Wrights & aurate ad esapek things difficult for her
In her eyes, she had married Evan
She had not married the entire Wright fastly
Stella had always valued personal needom
To her, if people got along, they could spend time together
If they did not, then they could simply keep their distance
But the Wright family had insisted on saying things like af andly was not complets on biccis intes y your wacther
They had made it sound as if they cherheit Stella su imich
In reality, they had only wanted eaters to drag his book and carament her
And so Stella had been called back agam and goth
Now, things were finally lively.
Very lively.
Just then, Leon called Jennifer.
She answered. “Hello?”
“Come out. I’m waiting outside.”
“Why are you here?”
The moment Jennifer heard Leon’s voice, she instinctively glanced at Stella.
Leon said, “When they heard I was here to pick you up, they let me in.”
“Is Evan in your car?”
When she had been upstairs earlier, she had seen Evan leave not long ago.
Now Leon had come to pick her up, and there was a good chance Evan was in his car.
Leon choked at her question.
When he did not answer, Jennifer knew at once that Evan was definitely in the car.
She said, “You just wait.”
Then she hung up.
