Chapter 538

Felix said he wanted to take Stella skiing.
There had been blizzards for a while before this, but over the past few days, the weather had slowly begun to improve. It was perfect for skiing.
Stella had just finished her call with Felix when Gray said to her, “Mrs. Wight wants to see you.”
Hearing that, Stella raised an eyebrow.
The image of Dora hitting Summer flashed through her mind, and she let out a soft laugh. “Why does she want to see me? To ask me to kill Summer?”
It was true that Dora could no longer stand Summer.
After all, Stella had forced them to be tied together like grasshoppers on the sarfe rope. They had to face each other day and night.
Gray said, “It doesn’t seem like that.”
“Let her in.”
Speaking of it, the whole thing was truly ironic.
The Wright estate was still the same Wright estate as before. The house and the layout had not changed much.
The only thing that had changed was the people of the Wright family.
They had been thrown into such chaos that no one could rein it in anymore.
Before long, Dora came in.
Although she did not come very close, Stella could still smell her from a distance because she had not showered in days.
Summer smelled even worse.
Stella copied the way they used to act and frowned in disgust. “Open a window. Air out the room.”
She said this to the maid beside her.
The maid nodded and went over to open one of the windows.
Although Stella did not directly say that Dora smelled bad, the faint disgust shown between her brows still made Dora feel humiliated in a way she had never felt before.
Like Evan, she said nothing.
When Evan had come in earlier, he had said nothing either. Now Dora was silent too.
Clearly, when it came to the matter of causing Stella’s mother’s death, neither Evan nor Dora knew where to begin
Stella raised an eyebrow. “If you came to see me for no reason, then are you trying to slack oft?”
“You have quite a lot of work now. If you’re trying to slack off and walk out of this door, your days won’t be easy.”
When people were pushed into extreme hardship, the selfishness buried in their bones would be forced out completely
Even before Dora and Summer had fully fallen out, they had already resented each other for slacking oft
Now, there was even less need to say.
The two of them had torn into each other so badly that neither was willing to do even a little extra work for the other.
Data Imally spoke. She sighed and said, “I only found out today that everything you’ve done was aimed at me alone”
No wonder, when Dora had said that Stella should come at her if she had a problem, Stella had replied, “I am coming at you.”
Back then, Dora had not quite understood what Stella meant.
Today, she finally understood completely.
Before Stella knew the truth about her mother’s death, she had gone too far against the Wright family, but not this far.
Even when she had targeted someone, she had targeted Summer more.
Because she was targeting Summer, she had overturned the entire Bailey family.
After that, she suddenly refused to divorce Evan and moved straight into the Wright estate.
Even then, Dora had still thought all of this was because of Summer.
Who could have imagined…
Stella had been coming for her all along.
Hearing Dora’s words, Stella raised an eyebrow and glanced at her without speaking.
Her gaze deepened.
Clearly, Stella understood exactly what Dora meant. A faint smile curved her lips. “So you finally know? Evan found out?”
Dora said nothing.
When she met the smile at the corner of Stella’s mouth, she felt suffocated.
During this period, whenever Stella smiled, it was never a good thing for them.
