Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 713

Chapter 713

That was true.

Ever since Evan had given in two days ago, every time he instructed Patrick to handle something, a low, oppressive mood clung to him.

If Evan did not bring something up himself, Patrick naturally would not dare ask.

Stella said, “Where is he?”

“The last time I saw Mr. Wright was at five this morning. He was at the shore in Conch Bay.”

“Are you trying to tell me he jumped into the ocean?” Stella’s voice dropped completely.

Her tone was colder than ever.

Patrick said nothing.

Jumped into the ocean?

Probably not.

“I don’t know. I only know that Conch Bay was the last place I saw him.”

Stella said, “So you’re saying you don’t know where he is now?”

“Yes.”

“Aren’t you going to see him?”

Patrick said, “This was the last thing I was supposed to do for him. Mr. Wright said that after I finished it, I would no longer work for him.”

Wright Group was gone.

And Patrick had left the company for good.

Stella said nothing.

So at five in the morning, Evan had seen Patrick for the last time and let him go?

Stella’s grip on her phone tightened. “Then who is with him now?”

“I don’t know.”

I don’t know

Those answers had never come from Patrick before

Fury surged through Stella She threw her phone onto the carpet.

It hit the floor with a heavy thud, echoing the heaviness in her chest

Gray’s breath caught.

After being by Stella’s side for so long, it was the first time he had ever seen her lose her temper

Gray looked at Stella and asked, “Should I find out where he is?”

“Find him. Now.”

What was Evan trying to do by refusing to give her the divorce agreement?

And honestly, Evan’s actions made no sense.

He had handed over everything but the divorce agreement.

As for the divorce itself, he had not said a single word.

No one knew what he was thinking.

Gray immediately sent people to find Evan.

Felix got the news soon after.

When he arrived at the Wright estate, he found Stella sitting on the couch, her face dark, with anger.

It was the first time he had seen her this furious.

For months, she had been the one angering the Wright family.

That expression had rarely appeared on her face.

Gray was reporting to her. “Mr. Wright has disappeared.”

Stella said nothing.

Felix said nothing.

At the word “disappeared,” Stella looked directly at Gray.

So did Felix.

Gray continued, “We searched all of Harbor City. He’s no longer here.”

“He’s no longer in Harbor City?” Stella asked.

Gray nodded. “No.”

“How did he leave?” Stella asked through gritted teeth.

For the past few months, no one in the Wright family had been allowed to leave Harbor City.

The Wrights outside the city could not return, and the Wrights inside could not leave.
