Chapter 721
Fiona did not want to leave either.
She had lived there since the day she was born.
That had been her home.
And now Stella had taken it from her.
No matter who it happened to, it would hurt.
Dora took a deep breath and sniffed, letting the tears slide down her face.
She looked at the gates of the Wright estate one last time.
Then, with a defeated expression, she turned and left with Fiona.
Inside, Gray looked at Stella. “Should I make arrangements to have them taken in now?”
He meant Dora and Fiona.
The evidence against them was more than enough.
Stella said, “Not yet. Once I’m back in Eirden, there are still a few things they need to learn before they go in.”
Gray said, “What do you mean?”
“Haven’t they spent all this time trying to figure out who’s behind me?”
Once Stella returned to Eirden, certain information would naturally be released.
“Why not tell them directly?” Gray asked, confused.
Stella said, “Because they wouldn’t believe it if I did.
Gray understood.
Stella wanted them to suffer even more.
Even after they were locked away, they would never be free of that torment.
Sometimes, not knowing the full truth was its own kind of punishment.
Dora and Fiona had left.
But Summer had nowhere to go.
She called Ruby Bailey.
The moment Ruby heard that Summer had been thrown out of the Wright estate, her voice turned cold.
“You were thrown out of the Wright family? So you still haven’t settled things with Stella?”
“Mom, I have nowhere to go! Is Stella really all you care about right now?”
Summer had called Ruby mainly to tell her she had nowhere to stay.
She wanted to know whether Ruby still had a property she could use.

But Ruby’s reaction to the conflict between Summer and Stella sent a chill through her heart.
Ruby said, “If you don’t settle things with her, then I can’t resolve anything on my end either. Don’t you understand how serious this is?”
Summer said nothing.
If Summer could not resolve it, Ruby could not either?
Summer took a deep breath. “When you supported me in doing all those things, didn’t you know there would t no way for Stella and me to work things out afterward?”
Work things out?
Of course they could not.
They had once wanted Stella dead.
And Stella knew that better than anyone.
Summer had tried every possible way to fix things over the past months.
She had apologized. She had pleaded. She had backed down in every way she could.
But none of it had worked.
What else was she supposed to do?
“You ungrateful girl. Are you talking back to me now?” Ruby snapped.
Life had been difficult for Ruby in Eirden these past months too.
She had tried everything she could think of, but nothing had worked.
What else could she do?
All she could do was place every last hope on Summer.
But Summer’s attitude now was more than Ruby could bear.
Summer had never dared speak to her like this before.
Summer said, “There’s no fixing things between Stella and me.”
“Then sleep on the streets. Let Stella throw you out there. Whatever happens to you, don’t come crying to me!”
Ruby shouted the words into the phone, then hung up.
