Chapter 776
At the sudden mention of Summer, Felix glanced at Stella.
His gaze deepened, as though he were trying to read something in her eyes.
But he found nothing.
“Why bring her up all of a sudden?”
“I was just curious,” Stella said lightly. “Besides, I don’t exactly want to see her end up well.”
And she did not.
After everything Summer and Ruby had done to her, Stella had no wish to see either of them live comfortably.
There had been too much.
Enough to make Stella want them both completely ruined.
“Don’t worry,’
“Felix said. “She won’t have a good ending. She’ll end up worse off than the Wrights.”
“Is that so?”
“Of course.”
He looked at Stella again, searching for any sign that she knew something.
But there was nothing.
Stella smiled faintly.
“I’m done eating. I’ll go with Leah first. You take your time.”
“Okay.”
Felix nodded.
From the moment Stella left the dining room until she got into the car, her heart still would not settle.
Leah glanced at her through the rearview mirror.
“Something on your mind, Miss?”
“It’s nothing. Whatever it is, time will reveal it eventually.”
No matter why Felix was helping Summer, she would find out sooner or later.
Time had a way of bringing every truth to light.
But Felix…
Why did it have to be Felix?
The fact that he was the one helping Summer left a bitter feeling in Stella’s chest.
Back in Harbor City, while she had been fighting the Wright family, Felix had always stood behind her.
Now, just when everything seemed to be over, he had reached out a hand to Summer.

“What are we doing today?” Stella asked.
The road ahead was rough again, making her uncomfortable.
But it was not the same road as yesterday.
“It involves flying,” Leah said.
“Flying a plane?”
“Aaron said this is something you need to learn.”
Stella went quiet.
Something she needed to learn.
That was really asking a lot.
She could barely handle driving a car, and even that was not something she was especially good at.
Now Aaron suddenly wanted her to learn one unfamiliar skill after another.
After yesterday, Stella did not ask many questions.
Whatever Aaron wanted her to learn, she would learn.
The entire day was packed with training Leah had arranged.
By the time it ended, it was already dark.
Stella was so exhausted she felt like she might collapse.
The moment she got into the car, Leon called.
“Stella, has Jennifer contacted you?”
Stella’s breathing paused.
Especially when she heard the anxiety in Leon’s voice.
It sounded exactly like Evan had sounded when Stella had once tried to walk away.
Jennifer really had taken that first step.
But what would happen after that?
In the end, Stella had still married Evan.
As for Jennifer…
