Chapter 811
Felix did not touch his breakfast.
He only looked at Stella.
After a long moment, he reached over with a helpless sigh and tried to smooth a hand over her hair.
“Are you angry?”
Stella turned her head at once, avoiding his touch.
Felix’s hand froze in midair.
She looked at him coldly.
There was more than distance in her eyes now.
There was nothing but ice.
No warmth.
“Stella.”
“I’m done.”
Leah had arrived.
Stella set down her spoon and stood, ready to leave.
She did not want to face Felix right now.
The way the staff and housekeeper treated him made it obvious how Aaron felt about him.
Felix could come and go from the castle freely, and that was not something Stella had the authority to change.
She could not keep him out.
So she would leave instead.
But the second she took a step, Felix caught her wrist.
“Stella.”
She instinctively tried to pull away.
His grip tightened.
Their eyes met.
His were too deep to read.
Hers had gone completely distant.
Everyone nearby stiffened at the tension in the room.
“Leave us,” Felix said.
No one moved.
This was Michamore Island.
The castle belonged to the Hogarth family.

Felix might have free access here, but he was still a guest.
At his command, no one dared move.
They all looked to Stella.
She saw the darkening look on Felix’s face.
“What?” she asked coldly. “Do you think this is still Harbor City?”
This was Eirden.
And this was one place where Felix did not get to call the shots.
“Let’s talk.”
Felix softened his tone.
But Stella’s voice remained cold.
“About what? Summer? Felix, you should know that once someone.is connected to Summer, there’s nothing left for us to talk about.”
When Evan had wanted to talk about Summer, Stella had refused.
And now Felix wanted to talk about her too.
Stella still refused.
Summer was the one wound in her heart that would not heal.
Until Summer was completely out of her life, Stella would never let it go.
Felix said nothing.
“When Evan wanted to talk about Summer, I wouldn’t listen,” Stella said. “What makes you think I’ll listen to you?”
She had never understood what Evan wanted to discuss.
Summer had deliberately harmed her and destroyed too much.
What mercy was Stella supposed to have for a woman like that?
“Gray.”
“Yes, Miss.” Gray stepped forward.
A sharpness appeared in Stella’s eyes, entirely at odds with her usually gentle expression.
She looked at Felix and said, slowly and clearly, “Find Summer. I don’t care where they took her. Search everywhere if you have to, but find her.”
“Yes, Miss.”
“Stella!”
Felix’s grip tightened around her wrist.
