Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 941

Stella stepped out of the room and found Seymour and Remi speaking in low voices.

Both of them looked grim.

Something had clearly gone wrong.

Her first thought was the call she had made to Jennifer.

Had the signal been detected?

Her heart dropped.

She walked over to them.

“What happened?”

Remi and Seymour exchanged a look.

Neither answered, but the weight in their expressions only deepened.

Stella raised an eyebrow.

“Do we need to move again?”

If they had been found, then they would have to leave Sevi Valley.

“It’s not about you,” Remi said.

Stella frowned.

“Then what is it?”

“Something happened on Amos’s side.”

At the mention of Amos, Stella’s unease sharpened.

Amos was connected to Evan.

In an instant, she understood.

Felix and Aaron desperately needed her back so they could bargain with General Litt.

That meant they would use every method available to find her.

And they knew Amos’s people had taken her.

So naturally, they would pressure him to hand her over.

“Are Felix and the Hogarth family moving against Seaborne?” Stella asked coldly.

“Not Seaborne itself,” Remi replied. “They’re targeting Amos.”

Seaborne was too large and complicated for even Felix and Aaron to attack directly without consequences.

But undermining Amos was another matter.

They were cutting him off from every direction.

If it continued, Seaborne would descend into chaos.

Still, Remi and Seymour were his people.

It was not difficult for them to hear what was happening.

Stella looked at her.

Remi folded her arms.

“I just think your brother and Felix are disgusting.”

She had never been good at hiding what she thought.

Everyone knew why Felix and Aaron were so desperate to find Stella.

And that reason made Remi sick.

“Amos must be suffering heavy losses because of me,” Stella said.

“He is,” Remi admitted. “But that isn’t something you should worry about.”

It was true.

No matter how serious the situation became, it was not Stella’s responsibility to solve it.

The only way she could do that would be to return to Eirden.

Stella’s gaze sharpened.

“This is happening because of me, and you’re telling me it’s none of my concern?”
