Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 979

After all, this was no simple matter.

Remi knew how calculating both Aaron and Felix could be.

But Stella was no pushover either.

The strategies she had been giving Amos lately made that perfectly clear.

Once Stella stopped caring about consequences, she would put everything she had into dragging her enemy down.

Had Felix and Aaron not already walked into one trap after another that she had carefully laid for them?

She could be truly ruthless.

As for how she intended to handle them, Stella did not answer Remi’s question.

She merely gave a calm smile.

…

Remi passed the message to Amos, who immediately told Evan.

By then, Evan had recovered considerably.

When Amos told him Stella intended to keep Felix and Aaron occupied that night, his brows drew together.

“How is she planning to do that?”

“She didn’t tell Remi, so Remi doesn’t know either. She only said she would handle them and told me to focus on Litt tonight.”

Having someone keep Felix and Aaron occupied would be ideal.

The two of them were effectively aligned with Litt for now.

If they interfered with Amos’s operation, it would create serious trouble.

Evan rubbed his aching brow.

“What do you think she plans to do?”

Amos fell silent.

That question had caught him off guard.

What would Stella do?

Judging by everything she had done lately, once she set her mind on accomplishing something, she would use whatever means were necessary.

“Call Remi,” Evan said. “Tell her to inform Stella that we don’t need her help.”

“What?”

They did not need it?

Of course they did.

“We absolutely need it, and you know that.”

Aaron had been trying to kill Amos for years.

If that old man escaped, they might never get another opportunity like this.

Besides, eliminating Litt was ultimately for Stella’s sake too.

“Are you making the call or not?” Evan asked coldly.

He had no interest in listening to Amos argue.

“All right, all right. I’ll call.”

This was unbelievable.

They had been handed the perfect advantage, yet Evan refused to take it.

Still, when Amos thought about it carefully, he understood.

If his own wife had offered to put herself in danger for him, he would never have allowed it either.

In the end, under Evan’s insistence, Amos called Remi.

When Remi passed the message on, Stella looked surprised.

“They don’t need my help? Amos is feeling brave tonight.”

Remi said nothing.

She could not understand why Amos would turn down such a useful offer either.
