Chapter 28 Get Out

Neal watched them save. He adjusted his–suit and a strange look flashed in his eyes.

Raymond forced Agnes back to the villa. Agnes refused to get out of the car, so Raymond simply picked her up and carried her over his shoulder

The house servants froze when they saw Raymond carrying Agnes upstairs,

A few days ago, Agnes had suddenly left the house. The servants all thought Raymond would soon divorce her.

They believed the next lady of the house would definitely be Raymond’s first love, Hillary.

But now, after only a few days, Raymond had brought Agnes back. And Agnes struggled the whole way, like she had been forced to return.

Raymond kicked open the bedroom door and slammed it shut behind him.

He threw Agnes onto the bed and immediately leaned over her, not giving her any chance to get up.

One of his hands pinned both of her wrists above her head. Anger and punishment filled his eyes as he bit her lips hard.

“Get off… Mmph… Get… Mmph… Get away…” Agnes struggled.

“Agnes! Do you really think I can’t find you?” Raymond said coldly. “You’re my wife! We’re not divorced yet! You should fulfill your duties as a wife!”

Before she could reply, he kissed her again.

“Didn’t you want a child? I can give you one!”

Agnes couldn’t move at all. Raymond’s kiss felt aggressive. It made her desperately want to escape.

But he seemed to have lost his mind. He ignored her struggle and kissed her more wildly. His other hand. started tearing at her clothes.

Suddenly, Raymond frowned. A faint smell of blood filled the air.

“Hiss…”

Agnes had bitten him. He lifted his head, breathing heavily, and stared down at her.

Tears filled her eyes. Her body trembled slightly.

She looked at him with pure anger and hatred. That shocked Raymond. It felt like she truly hated him.

His heart suddenly tightened with fear. All the anger inside him disappeared at once. It felt as if someone had grabbed his heart and squeezed it hard.

Without thinking, he loosened his grip on her wrists. Agnes immediately pushed him away with all her strength.

“Get out!” she shouted.

She didn’t want to see Raymond at all. She grabbed the blanket and wrapped herself tightly inside it.

Raymond stood beside the bed. “When did you start seeing Neal?” he asked.

He waited for a long time, but Agnes didn’t answer. Did that mean she admitted it? Had they been together for a long time already?

Raymond suddenly became angry again.

“Don’t even think about getting a divorce! From now on, you’re not allowed to contact him again! Not even a single word!”

Agnes laughed coldly. “You’re a joke, Raymond.”

She knew Ursa must have told him something. But seeing him this angry actually made her feel satisfied.

In the past, she would have carefully explained everything to him. She would have tried to prove her loyalty with all kinds of evidence.

But now, she would rather let him misunderstand. She rarely saw him this upset.

Agnes couldn’t tell if Raymond still had a tiny bit of love for her or if this was just his pride as a man.

The room fell into cold silence. Neither of them spoke again.

Raymond stood up and fixed his clothes. Then he walked toward the door.

Before leaving, he stopped and turned slightly. “I already told you. I won’t agree to a divorce.”

Agnes stared at him in surprise. This scumbag clearly doesn’t love me. Why won’t he let go?

After leaving the house, Raymond went straight to a bar.

In a private lounge, several rich young men were drinking and having fun.

They were all famous heirs in Grandridge, though their family businesses were smaller than Newton Group.

“Raymond, what’s wrong?” one of them said with a grin. “Want me to call a beautiful girl to keep you company?”

Felix Cooper held a glass of wine in one hand and a woman in the other. When he saw Raymond looking distracted, he started teasing him.
