When everyone noticed how agitated Vivian was, they failed to get any answers from her, so they eventually left.
Once Vivian was by herself in the room, she pulled the blanket tightly around her, shaking with fear.
The horrifying moments from the previous night kept looping in her mind, yet she did not dare to say a word.
After Agnes left the night before, she had planned to go after her and pick a fight.
But in the darkness, someone suddenly seized her hair and dragged her away with violent force.
She struggled desperately, but it was too dark and she could not see who it was.
From the figure, it seemed like a woman, or perhaps a slender man.
Whoever it was, they were incredibly strong. They dragged her all the way back to the cruise ship they had arrived on.
Across the deck, they pulled her straight toward the propeller at the stern.
Then they held half her body over the rapidly spinning blades.
Vivian was utterly terrified.
If that person released her for even a moment, she would fall into the propeller, be torn apart, and die instantly.
Her entire body went weak from fear, and she cried out for mercy.
"Who are you?! Help! Murder!"
But the figure wore black, tight-fitting clothing, along with a mask and hood. They ignored her screams completely.
It was clear they intended to kill her.
Vivian sobbed and begged, but the thunder of the propeller, the crashing waves, and the fierce storm drowned out her voice.
She could not think of anyone other than Agnes who might hold a grudge against her on that island.
After an unknown amount of time, the person in black suddenly pulled Vivian back and threw her onto the ground.
Before she could recover, a barrage of blows struck her face and body.
"Stop! Who the hell are you?! I will give you money! Whatever amount you want, I will pay!"
Vivian covered her head and curled up on the floor. She wanted to resist, but she could not even stand.
When the person finally stopped, Vivian thought it was over.
But then she saw them take out a pair of scissors.
And begin cutting her hair wildly with quick snips.
"No! Stop!"
She tried to protect her hair with her hands, but the scissors cut her hands several times. The pain made her grit her teeth.
The beautiful hair she had always been proud of turned into a messy ruin.
After the frenzied cutting, the person suddenly pressed the scissors against Vivian's neck.
Then they stared at her with mocking eyes, slowly removed the mask, and revealed a gentle smile.
Vivian looked at the person in shock. "You..."
"This is just a warning, Vivian. From now on, I am watching you."
That chilling voice echoed in Vivian's ears.
