Love beyond the mask (Whitney) novel Chapter 1212

She shot Whitney a furious glare, but didn’t bother saying anything. Instead, she spun on her heel and bolted toward the bedroom.

All she had to do was lock the door—no one would be able to get in. With Shane drugged and out of it, she could have him in just a snap.

“Don’t you dare run!”

But Whitney had already noticed something was off the moment she turned away.

Sienna must’ve dosed herself hard to make sure it worked.

Whitney narrowed her dark eyes. Honestly, this just played right into her hands. If Sienna wanted to make trouble, she couldn’t blame anyone but herself.

There was no time to waste. Drastic times called for drastic measures.

“Sienna!” Whitney dashed forward, grabbing Sienna just as she fumbled with the door. She shouted to Sandy, “What are you standing there for? Go get the security guys up here! Make sure she doesn’t get away!”

“What are you doing? This is Mr. Nelson’s house! Have you lost your mind, Whitney?”

Whitney’s voice was ice cold. “Tonight, I don’t care about playing by the rules. If you can drug Shane without a second thought, you really think I’ll let you off easy? Security, get her out of here! She wants to play with fire? Fine. Maybe she’d like a real taste of it—like being dumped outside O’Malley’s where those creeps hang out.”

Whitney’s words were so chilling, Sienna stared at her, stunned.

She was so obsessed with her own scheme that she could barely think straight. After a long, strangled silence, she finally found her voice, trembling with rage. “What do you want with me? You bitch, let go! Get your hands off me! Whitney, how dare you! My grandmother will never forgive you for this—touch me and see what happens!

When I become Mrs. Nelson, the first thing I’ll do is kick you out of New York! You’ll regret ever crossing me!”

But… Whitney had just gone nuclear.

Was this going too far?

“Whit, did you bring the security guys tonight because you planned all this?” The realization dawned on her and she broke out in a cold sweat. “If Sienna really did drug herself and you just tossed her out to those drunk guys… What if something happens? Her family will lose their minds—you’ll be in so much trouble!”

“So what was I supposed to do? Just stand by and watch her seduce Shane and force them into some fake engagement?”

Whitney looked at her, face blank, rubbing her temples. “Come on, Sandy. If I didn’t shut her down hard right now—get something on her—how long until she turned around and tried to take me down instead?”

“But Whit… why are you doing all this? Why do you have to break them up?”
