"I’m not thinking about you!" Gu Qibao replied sullenly, turning her head to the side.
Di Mingjue was taken aback; was she playing coy?
When had he, the Third Young Master of the Di Family, ever lowered himself to cajole a woman with sweet words?
"Gu Qibao." Di Mingjue grabbed her chin, turning her face towards him with a slightly cold expression, "I don’t have time to bicker with you. Tell me, what is it? Are you missing your husband or is there something else?"
Gu Qibao couldn’t find the words to respond. She didn’t want to tell him about her pregnancy, but she wasn’t thinking about him either!
Seeing Gu Qibao stay silent, Di Mingjue had little patience. In fact, he was quite fond of her.
So, without wasting more words, he directly kissed her lips, expressing his longing.
Because expressing it verbally felt too fake to him, he preferred to prove it with his actions.
Gu Qibao was dumbfounded and a surge of anger rose in her heart, she despised this version of Di Mingjue.
So Gu Qibao used every bit of her strength to push him away, struggling.
Di Mingjue paused, his gaze flaring with impatience. He grabbed her flailing hands, "Gu Qibao, what the hell has gotten into you?"
"I’m just acting crazy. If you can’t stand it, then leave! Don’t touch me, don’t move me!" Gu Qibao fired back angrily.
Di Mingjue stared at her, his seductive lips slowly tightening, emitting a chilling sharpness. His gaze was genuinely frightening.
Gu Qibao felt a bit scared, but she pouted her lips, saying unhappily, "You’re always like this, have you ever considered my feelings?"
"Didn’t I ask you? You have something to say, don’t you? Didn’t your husband tell you to just say it? Don’t make me guess."
Gu Qibao huffed and ignored him.
With a strong slap on her little butt, Di Mingjue looked at her coldly, "Go get the assignment."
"What for?" Gu Qibao asked with teary, confused eyes.
"Dummy. Of course, to copy it for you." Di Mingjue pinched her face maliciously.
Gu Qibao froze, had she heard wrong? Was Di Mingjue going to copy her homework?
"Why are you standing there dazed?" Di Mingjue snapped at her, "Didn’t you hear me, go get it!"
"Oh okay." Gu Qibao scrambled down, rummaging through her stuff and handed out her crumpled assignment to Di Mingjue.
Di Mingjue frowned, his face full of disdain. Gu Qibao’s homework looked like it had been scavenged from a trash bin, it was unbearable to look at!
