Di Mingjue didn’t speak. He just watched Gu Qibao with extreme coldness, his deep eyes akin to a freezing cold pool. Cold light swirled from the depths of sight, seemingly extinguishing all hope bit by bit and turning into soul-chilling coldness.
"Young Master, your hand!" The driver exclaimed in surprise, staring at Di Mingjue’s bleeding right hand. The blood had stained the wheelchair and his trousers, and all the car windows were shattered.
The driver became so scared that his legs went weak. He quickly fetched the first-aid kit from the front seat, relieved that they had one in the car.
The car trailing Di Mingjue also halted. The car door opened, and Nangong Yue, Nangong Jin, and Di Mingchen all alighted, closely followed by Nangong Ran and Di Jinxuan.
Mingchen had brought along a military vehicle that also halted, making for a slightly grand scene.
"What happened?" Di Mingchen frowned and moved forward.
The group of men and women who had reached Di Mingjue’s car were all somewhat surprised. What on earth had happened?
The car window was shattered, Di Mingjue’s hand was bleeding, but the most alarming aspect was Di Mingjue’s grim, icy face radiating sheer malice that could make anyone weak at the knees.
"What’s up with you? Isn’t today your wedding day? What’s gotten into you?" Mingchen frowned as he stood by the car door.
Back at the bridal base, he was perfectly alright. What had caused him to snap now?
"What’s it to you?" Di Mingjue retorted with raised brows, his icy demeanor was chilling to the bone. He finished speaking, got out of the car, and coldly glanced at Mingchen before heading off.
Mingchen immediately grabbed him, "Where are you going? If you’re going to lose your mind, now is not the time. Our brother and parents are still waiting for you. What are you trying to do?"
"Like I said, it’s none of your business," Di Mingjue replied, his attitude offensive.
The driver tried to approach him to bandage his hand, but he was pushed away mercilessly, "Get lost."
