Di Jinxuan froze, until Nangong Jin asked again, and then she reacted.
What, what, get married?
She really hadn’t thought about this question at all.
However, Nangong Jin was very serious and longing as he spoke, "We’ll move out and live on our own, not with our parents, just the two of us. We’ll decorate the house the way you like, and live in it the way you prefer. That will be our home, okay?"
Jinxuan blinked, "Why is everything what I like?"
"Because you’re my wife," Nangong Jin answered as if it were the most natural thing in the world, "Isn’t a wife supposed to be pampered?"
Jinxuan blushed but felt extraordinarily happy inside.
She once doubted, thinking that her several brothers were the best men in the world, and that she would be very upset if she found a man who was less than them.
But now she was very grateful, Nangong Jin was also very good.
Unconsciously, Jinxuan stretched out her hand to touch his stomach, asking him, "Does it still hurt?"
"It doesn’t hurt when you’re here," Nangong Jin kissed her and smiled brightly.
Just then, a voice came from outside the door, "Young master, I’ve brought you some porridge."
"I’ll go open the door," Nangong Jin said as he intended to get out of bed.
But Jinxuan stopped him, "Don’t, you lie down; I’ll go open the door."
He was still sick, after all.
In an instant, Nangong Jin felt warmed by Jinxuan again, all the way to the deepest part of his heart.
He lay back down obediently, letting Jinxuan go to open the door.
Jinxuan opened the door, and the servant brought in the porridge then respectfully left.
"Do you want to eat in bed, or shall we get up to eat?" Jinxuan asked.
"Let’s get up to eat," Nangong Jin sat up in bed.
Jinxuan nodded, "Then come on over to eat."
The two sat down at the small dining table in the bedroom, and Jinxuan placed the porridge in front of him.
