Di Mingjue had an emotionless expression on his face as he gazed down at Bo Chengyan, who was kneeling at his feet. His thin lips curled slightly, "Since Mister Bo is so sincere, I will make time to come over."
"Good," Bo Chengyan nodded, stood up, and calmly looked at Di Mingjue. "I hope you will hurry."
"I don’t need anyone to teach me how to handle my business," Di Mingjue retorted.
Still as arrogant as ever, Di Mingjue left with Gu Qibao in his arms, not even bothering to glance back at Bo Chengyan.
Bo Chengyan’s fists were clenched so tightly they had turned a faint red. It was clear how much effort it took for him to restrain himself.
Kneeling before someone in public was a tremendous insult for any man, particularly with Qibao present.
As he knelt for Di Mingjue, he also knelt for Qibao.
Kneeling to a girl who once shivered and didn’t dare to admit she liked him, the taste of such humiliation and shame could probably only be truly understood by Bo Chengyan.
What upset him even more was the fact that Di Mingjue made him kneel, more like a spiteful gesture towards Qibao.
Just how much did this man care for Qibao? Yet, he seemed ruthless...
Di Mingjue took Qibao to his office, postponing the meeting that was about to start.
Lounging on the sofa, he invited her to sit on his lap and asked, "Why did you come to the company to find me?"
"I was bored at home."
Qibao nestled in his arms, fiddling with his slender fingers, his fingers are so beautiful!
Miss Gu was utterly jealous.
"Were you bored or did you miss your husband?" Di Mingjue lifted her chin in his usual domineering manner, but there was a touch of playfulness in his deep eyes.
Qibao chuckled, cupping his face, "Do you want to hear the truth or a lie?"
