Nangong Ran’s eyes widened immediately, almost blurting out that she was the one driving!
But then she thought that since she had nothing to do here anyway, she nodded, "Oh, okay."
Nangong Ran stepped forward to leave, but suddenly seemed to remember something, glanced over at Alvin, and finally spoke, "Prince Alvin, I’m sorry for what happened today."
Alvin was momentarily stunned, then quickly said, "It’s okay, Miss Nangong, this has nothing to do with you."
Nangong Ran smiled, then waved to Di Jinxuan and Nangong Jin, "I’ll be leaving first, Third Brother and Third Sister-in-law."
"Go on." Nangong Jin waved.
Di Jinxuan also quickly waved, "Go on, go on."
She originally wanted to add a phrase telling her to have fun, but since Alvin was present, she left it unsaid.
Nangong Ran trailed after Di Mingchen with her head down, feeling dejected, while Di Mingchen walked with confident strides, and the people following seemed spirited. Nangong Ran, in her current state, looked just like a criminal caught red-handed, which made Di Jinxuan laugh.
Once they were out the hall doors and through the passageway, what used to be a packed lobby overwhelmed by fans was now eerily quiet.
There were still traces of the disturbance, with fluorescent lights, signs, and slogans scattered around, leaving the scene in disarray.
Nangong Ran took a deep breath, pondering whether this had anything to do with her.
If she hadn’t dressed like this today, would the fans not have had a dispute?
The answer was unlikely.
After all, she went to see Alvin from the fan crowd, and no matter how she presented herself, it would likely spark fan debate.
As for fans fighting, that might be due to their own overly intense verbal conflicts, right?
As she was thinking, she heard Di Mingchen ask, "Why did you dress like this today? Playing a role? Or a costume party?"
Nangong Ran was embarrassed, scratching her head, "Nah, just a spontaneous idea."
Di Mingchen glanced at her, "As expected, there’s a bit of an intelligence issue."
