"Rest? Why do I need to rest?" Nangong Ran blinked in a daze. "I’ve just started, you know I’m the type that never gets drunk!"
"It’s better to rest for a bit." Li Hui gave her a sideways glance. "You’ve drunk so much, don’t you feel uncomfortable?"
"Not at all." Nangong Ran laughed. "I want to watch my third brother and third sister-in-law’s ceremony."
"Didn’t you watch it earlier?" Li Hui said. "You don’t need to watch it now. Go rest and come back to eat later."
Under Li Hui’s persistent insistence, Nangong Ran finally nodded. "Okay, but call me when it’s time to eat."
"Got it, got it. Go on, go." Li Hui urged.
"Ranran, I’ll keep you company!" Gu Qibao enthusiastically raised her hand. "Let’s go, I’ll go with you."
Having company, Nangong Ran was naturally happy, she didn’t linger, and took Gu Qibao’s hand. "Let’s go, Gu Xiaoqi, you haven’t been with me for a long time."
The two of them, hand in hand, happily went to the resting room.
"This kid," Li Hui watched Nangong Ran’s back, feeling a bit embarrassed, said to Di Yan and Fang Hao, "she’s just like she hasn’t grown up, please don’t mind."
"Why say such things?" Fang Hao chuckled. "She is young, after all. Besides, it’s her brother’s wedding, it’s only natural for her to be happy and drink a bit more. There’s nothing embarrassing about it, don’t blame her."
Li Hui covered her face, oh Emma, it’s obviously Nangong Ran getting carried away with her drinking and rowdy behavior, unable to contain herself!
Gu Qibao accompanied Nangong Ran to the resting room, and the two of them nestled on the sofa, Nangong Ran leaning against Gu Qibao.
"Truly drunk?" Gu Qibao inquired.
"Not really, just a bit of a headache," Nangong Ran softly replied.
