"Congratulations on your wedding." The King shook his hand again, "My son is young, a bit childish, I hope the Commander won’t take last time’s incident to heart."
"It’s all in the past." Di Mingchen replied, "We are still friends, so there’s no need to be overly formal, Your Majesty."
"You are magnanimous, Commander!" The King gave Di Mingchen’s hand a firm squeeze, "Honestly, I really admire you."
"I dare not accept such praise." Di Mingchen immediately replied, "Your presence is my greatest honor."
The Queen also stepped forward, smiling at Nangong Ran.
Nangong Ran could only return the gesture with a polite smile, gracefully speaking, "Welcome."
"Last time, you said you wanted to marry him, and now you really did." The Queen laughed elegantly, "Young lady, you are very brave and wonderful, happy wedding."
"Thank you, Your Majesty." Nangong Ran nodded.
The Queen stepped forward to hug Nangong Ran, and said, "Commander, Madam Commander, I represent B Country to present a gift to Madam, and I hope you will accept it."
The Queen waved her hand, and immediately someone brought forward a beautiful box, which, when opened, revealed a crown that was dazzling and breathtakingly beautiful.
Nangong Ran was stunned, thinking, what the heck?
It looks really valuable!
The Queen took out the crown to place it on Nangong Ran’s head, leaving Nangong Ran at a loss.
"This is too precious." Di Mingchen intervened.
"It’s not precious." The King hurriedly said, "This is just a small token of our goodwill, hoping for the lasting friendship between our two countries, and to thank the Commander for forgiving my son last time. You must accept it."
At this point, Di Mingchen couldn’t say much more, and he understood the King’s intentions well; the King still wanted to maintain good diplomatic relations with the Empire.
