If it were true, he’d have no strength to mock it, but he doubted it could be real.
If they really liked each other, chances are either his eldest brother would have made a move on his second brother, or vice versa by now. Anyway, he found it highly unlikely.
And if his eldest and second brothers were together, their parents would surely have a headache!
Seeing that Di Mingjue was silent, Gu Qibao laughed, "Alright, alright, I was just teasing, don’t take it seriously."
Di Mingjue pinched her nose, "You never act seriously."
"Who says that? I am very serious!" Gu Qibao put her hands on her hips.
"Really? In what way are you serious?" Di Mingjue raised an eyebrow, teasing her with a smirk. He pulled her closer and stared deeply into her eyes, "Come, show me which part of you is ’serious’."
Then he began to touch her playfully, his face full of mischievous smiles.
Gu Qibao blushed. Heck, was this considered flirting in public?
"Stop teasing!" Gu Qibao pushed his hand away, "There are so many people around."
"Where are the people?" Di Mingjue raised an eyebrow.
Surprised, Gu Qibao looked around quickly, only to note with wide eyes that, indeed, nobody else was around!
Only the dense forest.
"This..." Gu Qibao blushed, noticing that everyone had dispersed rather quickly and discreetly.
They vanished so silently that she wasn’t aware of it.
Had they been trained to do this?
"What’s with the ’this’?" Di Mingjue held her head, "You’re the fool, who didn’t notice them leaving for being too slow."
Gu Qibao: "..."
"Your response is the slow one." Gu Qibao couldn’t resist glaring at him.
Di Mingjue smiled subtly, keeping his eyes on her. He missed her terribly while she was away.
