Then, Gu Qibao’s phone rang. Gu Qibao didn’t want to answer the call, so she kicked Di Mingjue, "Answer the phone."
Di Mingjue opened his eyes in a daze, reached out and fumbled on the bedside table until he found the phone, and without a second thought, he hung up.
He couldn’t be bothered to see who was calling, disturbing him and his wife’s lazy sleep, it certainly wasn’t any good news, so he didn’t pick up!
After tossing the phone, he stretched his arm to catch the little thing that almost rolled off the edge of the bed and hugged it into his arms.
He nestled his head on her shoulder, mumbling dazedly and deeply "Baby."
Gu Qibao, also in a daze, nestled closer into his embrace, mumbled, "Don’t try being cute, why are you so close, it’s too hot."
Di Mingjue slowly opened his eyes, noticed this little critter squirming around with her tiny butt and snuggled almost to the edge of the bed again.
Di Mingjue blinked, feeling annoyed. He directly moved behind her, wrapped her tightly in his arms from behind and grumbled, "Bratty gourd, don’t reject me. Can’t you see my temper’s flaring? Come on, help me cool down."
Gu Qibao opened her eyes, Damn, can’t a girl have a good lie-in?
"If you’re in a bad mood, go take a cold shower." Gu Qibao jolted irritably, "I want to sleep!"
"No sleep allowed." Di Mingjue lifted her up and rested her on him, his dark eyes intriguingly deep, "Wife."
Gu Qibao: "..."
"Di Mingjue, this early in the morning and you’re already being cute and flirty, really?" Gu Qibao rubbed her eyes, pouted, disgruntled and nestled in, intending to continue her sleep.
Di Mingjue rolled over and pinned her beneath him, his warm lips settling on her ear, as an intense kiss ensued.
Gu Qibao felt ticklish being kissed, and she couldn’t help but shrink her neck, "Don’t, get off me."
But would Di Mingjue ever oblige?
