220 Say Something
“Is it okay if I do this, Andi?” I asked.
She bit her lip and nodded, winding her arm around my waist.
“My second announcement is about this beautiful lady beside me,” I smiled proudly at the camera and raised my left hand.” She’s my wife, and we got married in secret a few weeks ago. I want everyone to know that my heart belongs to this amazing woman. She’s my life, my light, and my constant from the moment we got married.”
It’s a good thing that I am not in front of the media. These people don’t throw questions at me; they just film and listen which is refreshing.
“And my third announcement,” I was feeling emotional, and my throat was growing rough and my thighs again. “This amazing woman is giving me the opportunity to be something I never thought I would be.” I smiled and shook my head. “I just learned moments ago that we were pregnant and are having a baby soon.”
Cheer quickly erupted from the people before us. They clapped, cheered, and murmured congratulations/celebrating this good news with us.
Someone yelled a kiss, then followed by another. Soon, everyone was chanting for us to kiss, and who was I to deny them that? In fact, I was also waiting for the right moment to kiss my pregnant wife, and this moment was perfect.
I cupped Andi’s face, nudged her nose with mine, before crushing our mouths together.
I hope the world can see how grateful I am for having Andi in my life.
