Raymond could just barely make out her movements.
“Again!”

He spat out a mouthful of blood as he climbed up-his lip was split, his body throbbing. But his eyes burned brighter than ever, fired up.

Margaret, who’d been half-bored a minute ago, narrowed her eyes. This guy has guts. Turns out the Tucker brothers aren’t all just pretty faces.
“Bring it.” Her voice was cold, but anyone who knew her would’ve heard the flicker of excitement.
Raymond was improving fast-after just a few rounds, he was starting to anticipate her moves.
The dude is a martial arts prodigy.
“Watch yourself!” Raymond charged again.
Margaret dodged easily, just like before, and went for another throw. But this time, Raymond reacted-he dropped into a squat, slipping out of her grasp.
Margaret’s eyes widened slightly, then a sharp, excited grin tugged at her lips.
Raymond flashed her a confident smirk. “I don’t fall for the same trick three times!”
Then-thud!
His triumph lasted less than a second before he hit the floor again. Margaret had more than one move up
her sleeve.
“Dammit! That’s a cheap shot!” Raymond cursed through the pain.
Even as he hurled insults, it was obvious his attitude toward Margaret had shifted in subtle ways.
Margaret’s voice turned serious. “In a real fight to the death, no one’s gonna yell ‘heads up’ before they strike. Any trick that takes down your enemy is a good one.”
Her words carried a cold, deadly weight-like she’d stared down death a hundred times. But she was just a regular girl, right?
“Fine! Again!” Raymond was hooked, more fired up than ever.
“Raymond, maybe call it quits? You’re gonna get killed!” His friends couldn’t stand watching anymore. This wasn’t a duel-it was a beatdown.
Raymond couldn’t land a single hit. Margaret was on a whole other level.
“No! Again! I don’t believe this!” Raymond was stubborn as a mule.
His body screamed in pain, but sheer willpower kept him on his feet.
“I don’t believe it!” He charged once more.
Margaret stepped aside effortlessly-then paused. She didn’t need to throw him. Raymond had already

collapsed, unconscious from exhaustion.
His friends rushed over. Margaret shrugged. “He’s not dead.”
She’d held back, believe it or not.
“But you should take him to the hospital. I think he broke a bone or two.”
Her casual tone sent chills down everyone’s spines.
A broken bone? It must hurt so much.
How could she sound so calm? She’s brutal as hell!
That’s her own brother!
If she’s laying into him this hard, then the rest of us…

“What are you staring at? Did you finish copying the rules a thousand times like I told you?” Margaret shot a glare at the girls who’d mocked her earlier.
Her aura was terrifying.
“Sorry! We’re sorry!” The girls, who’d been so cocky before, trembled under her gaze. They buried their heads in their work, copying furiously.
A thousand times? The thought made them want to cry.
Some guys carried Raymond to the infirmary.
The classroom fell deathly quiet. No one dared speak up-they all stared at Margaret like she was a monster.
Finally, Rickie shuffled over, holding her motorcycle key. “Boss, here’s your key.”
Margaret took it, wiped it with a tissue, and raised an eyebrow. “Boss?”
Her look alone made Rickie freeze.
He stammered, “Y-you beat Raymond! That makes you the new boss-naturally!”
Margaret paused, lost in thought.
Once, when she wasn’t busy being an assassin, she’d started an underground gang.
She’d been young and naive, inspired by a movie.
Later, with too many aliases to juggle, she’d handed it off to her underlings.
Four years had passed. She wondered how those guys were doing now.
Rickie panicked when she stayed quiet. “D-do you not like being called that?”
