Everyone was totally blown away.
Inside the abandoned factory, a man in black rushed over, panic written all over his face. “My Lords! Edward’s surrounded us with his private army!”

They had numbers, but the other side was armed to the teeth. Their combat power wasn’t even in the same league.
The top dog of the Five Kings shook his head. “No problem. Let him in.”
Moments later, Edward walked in-dressed in a black suit, his aura cold and menacing.
“The Black Dragon Gang has some nerve-daring to touch a Tucker!” His voice was icy, laced with killing intent.
“Edward!” Raymond’s anxious heart finally settled when he saw Edward. He waved excitedly, a big grin on his face.
But Edward ignored him completely. He walked straight to Margaret, his eyes scanning her carefully. “Maggie, are you hurt?”
Margaret shook her head. “Edward, I’m fine.”
Raymond stood there, forgotten and awkward.
“Mr. Tucker, there’s a misunderstanding. It wasn’t the Black Dragon Gang who disrespected Ms. Tucker-it was a rogue member of our gang.”
Edward was just a businessman, but even the Five Kings felt the pressure standing in front of him.
“Mr. Tucker, we just found out this man raped a woman and killed her entire family earlier. That violates our gang’s rules.”
James’s body began to shake violently, terror gripping him.
How did they know about that? I’ve hidden it so well!
Edward’s cold, piercing gaze shifted to James. In that moment, James felt his blood freeze. That stare was terrifying!
He regretted everything. He’d had no idea the girl was a Tucker!
Irvin tossed James to the ground.
James scrambled up and begged for his life.
“My Lords! Mr. Tucker! I had nothing to do with this! It was all my niece’s fault! If you need to take your anger out on someone, take her! Spare me!”
He kicked the unconscious Ruby hard. “Wake up, you bit! This is all your mess!”
The kick was so hard it jolted Ruby awake, her eyes flying open in pain.
“Give me a gun.” Edward’s voice was flat, He gestured to one of his men.

“Mr. Tucker, I’m truly sorry! Please forgive me!” James wailed. “I’m just a lowlife! Killing me would only dirty your hands!”
He could feel death closing in.
But no amount of begging changed Edward’s expression.
He loaded the gun slowly, then pressed the barrel to Janes’s forehead.
Without a moment’s hesitation, he pulled the trigger.
Bang!
A bullet hole opened in James’s forehead. His body crumpled backward.
Blood splattered onto Ruby, who stared in sheer terror.
“Ah!” She fainted again.
Edward handed the gun back to his man, not sparing James’s corpse a glance.
His reputation as a ruthless man in Capaville wasn’t just talk.
He turned to Margaret. “Maggie, let’s go home.”
“Okay.” Margaret’s face was calm.
Edward noticed Raymond still standing there, dumbfounded. He had no patience for him. “Aren’t you coming?” he snapped.
“O-Okay, Edward.” Raymond flinched.
The fearless troublemaker at school was terrified of his oldest brother.
He was also bummed about it. Edward is so playing favorites! He’s all nice and gentle with Margaret, but snaps at me like I’m totally worthless!
Edward’s group left the factory.
In the car, Edward said, “Maggie, Kenneth and Arthur will be back next week. We’ll have a family dinner then.”
Margaret nodded. “Sure.”
Edward dropped her off at the gate of Tucker Villa.
“Goodbye, Edward.” Margaret got out of the car.
“Goodbye.” Edward watched her walk through the gate, then turned his cold gaze to Raymond.
“Explain.” His tone left no room for hesitation.
Raymond felt like a rabbit facing a tiger. “Well, you know… it’s like… um…” He stammered through the whole

“Why are you being so nice to Margaret now?” He couldn’t hold back his confusion.
Edward had always ignored her before.
Edward’s eyes turned frosty, clearly displeased. “She’s your sister.”
