Chapter 65 Mutual Attraction

Margaret blew Walter a flirty wink. For a split second, she looked like a heart-stealing enchantress-stunning enough to bring down kingdoms.
Walter, the total eye candy fanatic, froze. He stammered, “N-Not ugly at all! You’re… you’re so beautiful…”
Thud!
Suddenly, Andrew, still in his wheelchair, gave the starry-eyed Walter a hard shove.
Walter stumbled, barely catching himself. When he looked up, Andrew was staring at him coldly. A chill ran down his spine.
Andrew’s eyes were dark with menace. “Dare to look again, and I’ll gouge your eyes out.”
“Andrew! I’m not looking! Promise!” Walter quickly averted his gaze.
Sheis drool-worthy, but my life matters more!
Andrew reached out, grabbing Margaret’s wrist and pulling her focus back to him. His deep eyes were filled with unmasked jealousy. “You’re mine. Don’t look at other men.”
“Are you ordering me?” Margaret ignored the anger simmering in his eyes, her tone light but turning cold.
He didn’t back down. “Yes.”
Margaret brushed a strand of hair behind her ear.
For some reason-maybe his blood was just that alluring-she was being unusually patient with him. Normally, she hated being told what to do.
“Fine. But remember this-don’t look at other women either. I hate that just as much.” She stared down at him, her tone just as arrogant and commanding.
Walter gaped at them. What the hell kind of crazy plot twist is this? The ruthless, psycho tycoon is actually this hung up on this girl?
By then, Andrew’s men had rescued the kids from the small room.
“Let’s go.” Margaret turned to leave,
“Hmm.” Andrew gave a cold grunt-only then did he signal Walter to push his wheelchair.
“Cold?” Outside, Margaret glanced at his pale face, sounding genuinely curious.
Andrew’s expression stayed blank. “I’m not.”
Right then, a bitter gust of wind swept past, making everyone shiver.
Andrew’s face turned even paler, but he didn’t flinch-like he couldn’t feel it.
He looked at her, suddenly realizing he’d never properly introduced himself. “Andrew Mohler. Male. 26. I

like Margaret Tucker.”
Margaret met his gaze, her voice cool but soft. “Andrew… I like that name.”
She murmured it, a strange warmth settling in her chest.
Then she introduced herself, matching his directness. “Margaret Tucker. Female. 18. I like Andrew.”
Her tone was bold and domineering.
It was true. She liked him.
From the first time she saw him, from the first whiff of his blood, she’d been drawn to him.

His blood called to her instinctively. And somehow, she knew they were the same kind of people—two sides of a magnet, pulled together by some invisible force.
Margaret stared at his handsome face, then hooked a finger under his chin. “Andrew, you mind adding a drop-dead gorgeous, flirty-and-sweet girlfriend like me to your life?”
Andrew let her hold his chin. Seated in his wheelchair, he tilted his head up slightly, his eyes locking onto hers-intense and unyielding.
His deep, sexy voice rang out. “No.”
Margaret nodded in satisfaction. “Great. Then I’m your girlfriend now.”
Andrew’s expression didn’t change, but he didn’t object either-clearly accepting her declaration.
His eyes fixed on her lips, raw possessiveness shining in them.
“You wanna kiss me?” Margaret noticed, a smile tugging at her lips.
Andrew nodded honestly. “More than anything.”
“Funny. I was thinking the same thing.”
Margaret’s smile was dazzling. She leaned down boldly, still holding his chin, and pressed her cold lips to
his.
The kiss between the handsome man and stunning woman was picture-perfect—like a painting come to life.
Walter’s eyes nearly popped out of his head. What the hell?! Suddenly getting hit with a truckload of PDA?
When the kiss ended, Margaret pulled away cleanly-no fingering passion, no warmth.
She ran a finger over his cold lips, grinning. “Andrew, did you like it?”
A faint flush colored Andrew’s handsome, stoic face-barely noticeable, but there. His voice stayed neutral.
“It was okay.” Clearly, he didn’t hate it.
Outside the warehouse, Margaret paused. “Wait. I need to grab something.”

Before anyone could react, her figure vanished into the night without a sound.

Andrew, who’d been calm a second ago, suddenly erupted with rage. Murderous intent radiated off him.
“Where is she?!”
Walter and Darryl’s hearts raced.
Darryl stammered, “I-I didn’t see how she left…”
“Find her.” Under his calm exterior, Andrew was like a caged, bloodthirsty beast-on the verge of snapping.
