Right now, she frowned at the crowded cafeteria and sighed dramatically. “Ugh, what a shame. Every table’s taken…”
Her fans’ ears perked up at her sigh. One of them gave a subtle signal, and a few tall guys immediately marched over to a table where some girls were sitting.
“Hey, you girls done eating? Time to go.” They ordered, no room for argument.
“But we just sat down… our food hasn’t even come yet.” The girls looked confused.
“I said you’re done! Got it?” The guys glared, their expressions menacing.
The girls recognized them as part of Clara’s fan club-one of the most powerful groups in school. They didn’t dare argue, so they stood up and left quietly.
Once the table was free, the guys switched to total suck-up mode and waved at Clara. “Clara! There’s a spot here-hurry over!”
Clara looked shy, like she had no idea who these guys were. She spoke politely, “Are you sure? This is your table… it wouldn’t be right to take it.”
The guys knew their “goddess” was “kind and gentle,” so they lied smoothly. “We’re already full, Clara.”
A girl beside Clara tugged her toward the table. “Clara, let’s go! I’m starving.”
Clara still looked hesitant. “Well… thank you, then.”
“No trouble at all! You’re so sweet, Clara-so kind!” The guys practically melted at her “praise.”
Clara and her friends sat down, ready to order.
On the other side, Rickie noticed Margaret hadn’t moved. “Boss, what are you looking at? I thought we were eating outside?”
Margaret turned away, a meaningful smirk playing on her lips. “Change of plans. Let’s go steal someone’s seat. Sounds fun.”
The guys who’d just been scolded stared, dumbfounded.
Margaret stuffed her hands in her pockets and strode straight toward Clara.
She wasn’t wearing her school uniform-she still had on the clothes she’d worn to kill last night: slim-fit jeans, a white T-shirt, and a black jacket. Her tall, shapely figure made the jeans look incredible.
Her hair was tied up, revealing her delicate face. She looked neat, sharp, and icy cold. Every angle of her perfect, glamorous features was flawless-equal parts beautiful and badass.
Guys and girls alike couldn’t take their eyes off her.

“Damn! She’s so cool!” the girls exclaimed. “The way she walks with her hands in her pockets? So sharp! And her face looks so high-end-those features are perfect!”
Her cold, killer aura mixed with her stunning looks måde her irresistible to everyone.
Watching Margaret walk over alone, the guys from Class 19 stayed put.
One turned to Rickie, worried. “Rickie, shouldn’t we help Boss? There are a lot of them-what if she gets hurt?”
Rickie patted his shoulder, bragging. “You’re still too naive! If you’d been with us at the abandoned factory, you wouldn’t ask that stupid question.”
Are you kidding? She took down over 30 gangsters by herself! Those losers don’t stand a chance against her.
To them, Margaret was a total legend.
“Is she a model? Her figure’s amazing! And her walk-so sharp and decisive!”
“Must be a celebrity! She’s way too pretty!”
“She’s probably from our school, right? But how come we’ve never seen her before?”
“Her looks and aura are totally beauty queen level-no, even better!”
The students kept gushing over her. Meanwhile, Margaret had reached Clara’s table.
Her expression was cold, a faint, mocking smile on her lips. That smile made people feel guilty for no reason-like a chill down their spines.
Clara had noticed Margaret a long time ago.
She was so dazzling, so bold-she’d stolen everyone’s attention.
For the first time since becoming the school’s beauty queen, Clara had been completely outshone.
