After a brief inquiry, King Gawain I said nothing more.
He issued a final ultimatum to the crown princes. "Confess and be treated leniently, or resist and face severe punishment!"
After the crown princes dispersed outside the palace, Prince Toby immediately pulled Rocco aside.
"Mr. Rocco, be honest. Was this your doing?"
"You know the skills of Father’s Ebony Eagles. There is no case in Montiria that they can't solve."
Toby's urgent tone was filled with worry.
Rocco, however, remained calm and shook his head. "Your Highness, I'm not foolish!"
"Besides, killing Lilia would bring me no benefit. I might even end up dying because of it. I wouldn't be that reckless!"
Toby felt that Rocco had a point. It wasn't worth dragging himself down into the abyss over a woman.
So, he breathed a sigh of relief.
"Good, as long as it wasn't you!"
But as he turned away, Rocco behind him flashed a sinister smile.
Ebony Eagles, huh? I wonder if you can see through the illusion I've set up!
"This is getting interesting!" Rocco mused to himself as he brushed back his long hair.
Anyone familiar with him would have been shocked to see him using his left hand, given that Rocco was known to be right-handed.
…
On another front, the news of Lilia's death spread quickly.
Matthew received the news the next day.
"Matthew, that woman never seemed like a good person. She even tried to seduce me before. It's better that she's dead. It will save us the trouble."
Matthew rolled his eyes in response.
However, securing equipment for sixty thousand people was a pressing issue.
"Matthew, you know our country has the strictest gun control laws in the world. Getting such a large amount of military supplies through the Martial League combat members headquarters could take a month, which we don't have."
"Wait!"
Just as the crown prince was about to continue complaining, Matthew interrupted him.
"Why do we need to apply? Think about where we are right now."
A mischievous smile appeared on his face.
The crown prince's eyes lit up. "Right, we can buy it!"
"But we don't have the channels."
Matthew tapped the table and gazed into the distance. "Do you remember Martin, who was very close to the Keller Family?"

The readers' comments on the novel: Medical Genius Unspeakable Marriage (Matthew Larson)
The story started out really good, but after 400+ chapters, I got exhausted because of the in-laws. There’s just too much pointless chatter and greed. The protagonist is supposed to be strong but turns soft whenever the in-laws are involved—even the wife, yikes. Do they always have to give in to every demand and treat? Too weak. I didn’t get angry, just tired… so I stopped reading 😜...
