Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew) novel Chapter 3625

Morton's words landed clearly for Matthew.

Number 403 was the newbie shop.

Every fresh face on Blackshore Island stopped here for info, but with so few newcomers around, the place barely got any customers.

That explained the heavy dust settled on the doorstep.

They reached the door, and suddenly Morton's face tightened.

"Matteo, I'm sitting this one out. My ties with that woman aren't great.

"If I tag along, she might hike up the prices just to spite me."

Matthew raised an eyebrow, surprised.

That wasn't just 'not great'—that was full-on bad blood.

Normal folks wouldn't jack prices just because a friend came in with them

This was something else.

Still, Matthew didn't push him to come inside. The fewer people who knew what he was after, the better.

"Fine, I'll go in first." He stepped forward, lifted the curtain hanging over the door, and walked inside.

Morton stayed outside, his eyes fixed on Matthew's retreating figure, thoughts hidden deep.

Years of surviving Blackshore Island told him one thing—Matthew was anything but ordinary.

Morton had been trailing just behind Matthew, his face wearing a relaxed smile.

However, his body was rigid, tense.

Even though Matthew was right beside him, the sheer force of his presence weighed down on Morton like a heavy anchor.

That alone confirmed one thing—Matthew wasn't an ordinary man.

Once inside the shop, Matthew's gaze swept across the room.

The difference was stark.

Outside, the place looked rundown and layered with dust, but inside, it was like stepping into an entirely different world.

Her smooth, pale legs extended lazily without a hint of concern.

"First time on Blackshore Island?" she asked, her eyes locked on his.

Matthew nodded.

"Yeah, I came here to get some info from you."

Her expression shifted instantly, coldness creeping into her eyes. "You should've brought anyone but that fat b*stard with you," she said sharply. "Everyone in District 13 knows about the grudge between us."

Matthew met the woman's gaze with a blank expression, clearly clueless about the history she was talking about.

"That's got nothing to do with me," he replied evenly. "He's just the guide I hired."

For a moment, she studied him, then a sudden smile spread across her face—warm, enticing, like the frost that had been covering her vanished in an instant.

"Well, aren't you a handsome guy," she said, voice laced with playful charm.

"How about sticking with me? Could be worth your while."
