The thugs lowered their heads to the floor a second time, their bodies trembling with effort.

"Third time," someone called out sharply.

They bent down again for the third time.

The thug with the injured arm struggled, forcing himself down with one hand. Each time, his head hit the floor hard, yet not a single person dared to reach out and help him up.

This entire ritual was repeated three times. Only then did it come to an end.

By then, the whole pub had fallen silent. Customers, servers, cooks, and even the owner had gathered in the main hall to watch the scene unfold.

"Ryan, let's get going. My daughter should be asleep already," Matthew said quietly.

Ryan nodded, and their group stepped carefully around the kneeling thugs before exiting the tavern.

They left behind a crowd murmuring in surprise and a group of worn-out thugs who collapsed on the floor, exhausted from the repeated bows.

Back at the villa, Ryan made sure Matthew had a comfortable room waiting for him.

Matthew laid Ariya gently on the bed, careful not to wake her from her peaceful sleep.

"It's still early. Why don't we hit the hot springs together?" Ryan suggested, his eyes sparkling with playful intent.

"You want me to go even though you're already drained? Besides, I have to look after Ariya," Matthew replied, clearly refusing.

He could tell Ryan had some plan in mind.

"Don't worry. Your daughter's safe on my turf.

"I already arranged for a nanny and security.

"Besides, after a night of drinking and swatting flies, we probably smell awful.

"You should check for yourself."

When Matthew stayed firm, Ryan grabbed his arm and started pulling him along.

"Come on, one soak won't hurt. You'll feel better, and at least you won't stink up the place around the baby."

Plus, his handsome face made it seem like every inch of Matthew's body fit perfectly with Ryan's ideal.

As Matthew stepped into the hot spring, Ryan felt an unexpected twinge of embarrassment.
